3 Reasons Why Hive May Fall In Love With ListNerds...

When we had the idea to build ListNerds on the blockchain and create a 'new way to do email marketing' we thought we knew who would adopt it first...

The idea was something the 'internet / affiliate marketing' world would be familiar with as the viral mailer or 'safelist' was not new...

And at the core of ListNerds, this foundation exists. We made sure not to rock the boat when it came to the basic functionality of this program because it was important for us to cater to our primary audience and customer base...

Sure, the blockchain stuff was there but could be daunting. However a member of ListNerds could literally, use the platform like they always had and never touch the crypto side of things....Or at least wait to dive in and learn it all when they felt comfortable to do so.

Makes sense right?

At least it did to us...And now 2 weeks since the re-launch, something happened that we did not expect so soon...

The Hive community has embraced ListNerds and have started to adopt it as a new way to drive traffic and engagement to their content here on the blockchain!

I've stated for the weeks leading up to the launch, we built ListNerds to BRING people to Hive, and that's happening still. We've set up dozens of new accounts for members and will continue to do so for the life of the program....

However what we did not expect to happen so soon was to see Hive really embrace this new form of content promotion!

Blown! Away!

A few reasons why I think it's clicking for Hive members...

Engagement!

People understand the importance of engagement and by being a little creative in your messages in ListNerds, you can increase engagement to your content on chain.

We're seeing people encourage engagement by rewarding viewers with a tip or two, and some upvotes. Which helps build the relationships between writer and reader!

Content Discovery

Let's be honest, if you are a new author or content creator on Hive or any of the tribes it can be an uphill battle to get noticed.

By plugging your content directly into the ListNerds membership you are able to increase visibility and traffic to your blogs.

It's most DEFINITELY not filled with 'Make Money Online' offers...

This was a huge worry for me personally. And I get it, a lot of the messages within ListNerds comes from the 'make money online' niche.

But wow, is it ever changing...

Heck, I even wrote a blog post about NFL football on Sunday and sent it out via ListNerds and got great response! This is just the beginning and hopefully as more diverse content starts using ListNerds, we'll see even more niches and topics being emailed about.

These are just a few reasons why I think the Hive community has begun to adopt ListNerds but it's just scratching the surface of what could be coming...

Man....I dunno if this is going to revolutionize it but...What a compliment! I'm grateful and humbled! With ListNerds, our goal was to do 2 things...

Change an industry that hasn't really changed for decades....

But most importantly, showcase Hive to the world! To the entrepreneurs that might take an idea we have built with ListNerds and create something even more powerful!

That revolution Task talked about, might not be ListNerds ....But I guarantee you....Something big is coming for all of us :)

I have to say that getting my first mail in List Nerds as a make money online offer worried me but at least there were some posts from HIVE after I gave it enough time.

Yeah and that'll be the bulk of them for sure...But slowly I think the audience will diversify and you will hopefully see a lot of people using it as a way to attract readers to their blogs!

Yea I tend to visit most of the posts I get. About how many members do you have around in ListNerds as I want to see how well I can do with a post.

I think Listnerds will eventually bring more people to $HIVE. If they keep receiving mails to view posts here, I think some will feel the need to check out what we have going on here and see it as an opportunity to network here directly. A win-win for HIVE and Listnereds!

So far I've been loving it and the extra CTP rewards are a nice welcome. Not only do I earn from blogging but I now earn from reading some emails and also meeting new interesting people. Most are promoting their hive posts right now which honestly is great!

I remember most of the successful affiliate marketers say "focus on mailing list", I am going to cross fingers and test out how that would work inside the Listnerds.

Hoping by the end of this year we have big results to look upto :)

Yup, and that's actually something we've been training some of our members on. They can actually us this service and 'push / pull' readers....

4 days of the week, pull them to your blog and build the relationships.

3 days of the week, push your mailing list and build it on ListNerds!

Listnerd might not be the most bug deal later on when many create similar apps like this but since it's what starts the engine it will be massive for sure and one of the best and most used on hive if not forever but for a very long time 👌

I have never heard of ListNerds...so thank you for the information.
I have been looking for a way to onboard more people to my project EasyDefi, as newbies are a big part of my customer demographic, but I must admit I was focused on the Fiat On Ramp situation. This may also help.

Content discovery is a huge plus for me. I find it way easier to find good content creators with ListNerds. Blog posts on peakd can quickly become overwhelming so Listnerds bring a good solution to that since everything is in one place.

Not to be Brown nosing, but ListNerds is so different and special that for most it will take a while for it to sink in fully.
We are not talking about a viral mailer, we are not talking about an income opportunity, we are definitely not talking about affiliate marketing.
What we are talking about is getting more eyes on your Hive Properties whatever they may be.
