It sounds amazing but I have a feeling I might get tired of going to another screen to confirm every transaction. However it does make it more secure since you have to sign off on each transaction.

Keychain will allow you to "whitelist" a device/app/session you trust to skip the confirmation step.

The Hive Authentication Service (HAS) will probably be the first step towards mass adoption. The easier the usage (including the login process), the more people will use it.

And if I may write down a suggestion, then I would like to mention SMS confirmation. This works on many websites. You receive an SMS with a code, and you confirm your login with that code.

SMS confirmation

Why add another level of confirmation? Not really needed with HAS;
That being said, it's up to the App or the PKSA to provide such a feature and take charge of the related cost.

Why add another level of confirmation?

For additional/more security. MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).

Yeah I have no doubt this will become the easiest app to use, Arcange has a tendency to put usability first and foremost with his stuff. This is going to be epic :)

Wow man this episode was really cool, this is actually the first time I saw @arcange I thought that I'd never see him haha so nice to understand a little bit more of this great project that I've being following from the first publication and I'm looking forward to see this technology implemented on different Dapps, in fact I'm really into the idea of having your own HAS server and just get access only by providing your name. It was so hilarious when @taskmaster4450 said "we need more paranoic people like you " lol. Thank you for bringing even more value to the table I'll stay tuned and looking forward to see more updates.

@arcange's apps are always easy to use. So I was confident this one would be as well.

HAS is very powerful for its cross-device, cross-platform, cross-browser capabilities, imo. And for having security at its heart.

It resembles WalletConnect as a way it works, that's true. I use that to connect Trust Wallet with ThorSwap, and it is easy indeed, much easier than Google Authenticator. But WalletConnect works with Ethereum/BSC/Thorswap addresses, HAS works with Hive accounts. To me that is a big development for Hive.

Huge! I think it's one of the missing pieces for sure to get us into more hands of the masses.
