#MyHiveGoals - Build The Passive, By Being Active!
I've been in the online marketing and affiliate marketing space for decades.
And the one thing that all the 'gurus' preach is how important it is to build passive income streams.
Problem...
They usually pitch some 'all you have to buy is this' product or service that they claim will create passive income streams overnight.
Welp, it doesn't work that way!
In fact, I would argue the trick to building any kind of business online is to ACTIVELY build the income streams that down the road turn into passive ones.
And that's what we have right here on Hive.
My 'Hive Goals' are to constantly be active here on the chain so that one day, I can live off the efforts I'm putting in today...
This weekly feature is documentation of my journey towards that goal :)

This past week was pretty awesome :)
Lots of great rewards from my post (active) and it translated into some healthy powering up of my Hive Power!
150,000 - 114,358.02 = 35,641.98 left to go
Approaching the 35k target...Things are progressing nicely!
20,000 LEO, 300,000 SPT & 100,000 ONEUP
Something tells me, LEO is about to boom!
And I'm here for it ;)

Those 5000 delegated LEO are working out great, LeoFi has become my trusted delegation tool going forward!

So now it's time to raise the stakes...

My SPT accumulation journey is on full tilt! I'm dollar cost averaging into the token every day plus trying my best to produce quality content on the @jonnycoin account.
So far, it's been a BLAST!!!
And the journey to 100k ONEUP is going great as well :)

Half a mill for SPT goal danggggg
I also saw LEO starting to pump and I'm still unsure as to why. However we there are VERY few days left in October when it was said Polygon IDO would release on CUB and I'm hoping that's not going to be back logged as well which seems to be a trend.
That dang elusive 100Hive a day though lol but think when you get there that's $77 a day from HIVE alone not even counting all of the other communities. So much freakin potential here for people they just gotta stick with it and provide value.

Yeah I'm blown away at how this all starts feeding itself. Hive is literally, the tip of the ice berg...And the trickle down effect is real lol
And that's a great goals to follow, for me I have just 3 goals before the year end I.e. 12500 HP, 1000 Leo and 1000 Stem. And I guess all these are achievable.

I think these kind of posts really help us keep on track and hit the goals we set for ourselves.
I picked up a hint about LEO from Achim on CTPTalk... so I've started to flip various tokens for LEO - miniscule amounts per day, but let's see how things develop!
Oh LEO is a no brainer for me. Especially everything they are building on the mobile front.

Is your LeoFi APR greater than actual curation? I remember hearing that some people can't seem to get things to work out properly (not enough users willing to take either side).

Any way to measure curation APR off hand? I'm spoiled with Hive Stats lol
Nope I don't think there is an actual tool out there but I think it would be appreciated by everyone if we could find out.

Generating passive income with Hive and its sister-projects is my goal as well. You're way ahead of me, but those posts encourage me, that I am on the right track.
But I won't start actively buying Hive until the bear market starts. That is my strategy.
Fun story about that....I actually started buying (steem) when it was around 4-5 bucks each...Right at the height of the bull run of 2017/2018.
Lesson learned lol But for me, it's all about dollar cost averaging, no matter what the price.
Crazy wealth from second layer tokens and blockchain games on Hive are the shining stars of this ecosystem. They are the portal for mass adoption and more!
