What a...'Waka' week!

The big news for me over the past 7 days was that I made one of the largest investments of my 'crypto journey' and actually secured a Waka Spiritblade card in #Splinterlands

Here's the funny thing though....

I invested nothing out of pocket!

This is why it's so important to remain active here on the Hive blockchain and stay the course. I was able to buy this card because of the compounding effects of...Showing up every day and putting in the work.

This was a big win for me, and it really helped me 'enjoy my week' just that much more...

This was a very steady week for my Hive accumulation. The prices went up and down, but no matter what, I just showed up and put in the work.

Amazing what happens when you do that ;)

150,000 - 120,324.79 = 29,675.21 left to go

After passing that 30k milestone, things should hopefully pick up speed for the rest of the year :)

Another fantastic week on LEO and there is a ton of excitement in the air as PolyCub gets closer and closer.

30,000 - 24,682.16 = 5,317.84 left to go

I'll be honest, I have NO IDEA about Polygon or any of the things being build on that chain, so to me, it's all a bonus!!

Not to be outdone with all the Waka Spiritblade excitement, I kept adding to my SPT stacks too!

1,000,000 - 559,414.67 = 440,585.33 left to go

I smile from ear to ear when people sell off SPT...My 'long bet' is on this blogging community...Especially as Splinterlands continues to expand!

And once again, there is a ton of excitement in the ONEUP community as well!

100,000 - 66,500.33 = 33,499.67 left to go

Just an absolute no brainer for the simple fact that everyone is talking about play 2 earn and NFTS, not only on Hive but across the entire crypto space!

That's awesome to see the accumulation you have going on. Good luck on the trip to 150,000 Hive.

I made my first post on January 4th, and I'm nearly at 400 Hive - will be looking forward to hitting that Minnow status at some point in march. Your daily curation growth is epic! I can only dream ;)

I really like the idea of accumulating Tribe tokens too, but I've taken the path of choosing to sell off a lot of tokens in order to build my HIVE holding. I guess I'm figuring I'd prefer to increase the HP power - although, I do feel guilty putting selling pressure on those tribe tokens. I guess I'm offering this view as a different perspective to yours, given our different HIVE stats.

My other approach, which I'm warming to, is to start delegating my tokens to a curation account. I need to look into this more.

Congratulations on the Waka and it's nice to know that you didn't have to spend anything out of pocket. I forgot to sell off some more VOUCHERs before the sale went live so I guess I will just be stocking some up for the next time prices go up.

Wow! What a Waka week indeed! The 100 Hive reward per day, the compounding growth of your staked tokens, and having that very powerful Summonner! Happy for you! ha ha ha ha I really haven't been winning a lot with him. I'm like 50% wins right now. Not the over powering summoner I thought he would be. But then again, Death is my weakest splinter.

Hi jongolson! I stumbled onto this post while looking at the Canadians on Hive badge. As someone still relatively new to Hive (started in Splinterlands March of 2021) to see what you have done is almost mind-blowing to me! Definitely going to follow you and see what I can learn. (I'm in Mississauga btw)

I'm super curious what the value on that card is going to be once wax sells out. Could be a very nice cash in that could very well blow all of your goals out of the water!

lol that's so nutz I don't see why the Wax ones wouldn't sell out just as fast. That's also most likely going to push it back up on the top list on atomic giving it a lot of gamer play2earn people eye balls ago. Could get interesting for card prices and activity again here real soon.

I've used it a few times.

I crushed a guy with like 4 million CP yesterday with it. But I'm about 50/50 with him.
