The Skepticism On The Price Of Hive.
The price of hive has been generating a lot of conspiracy theories, but the most believable notion is, of course, the idea that it's the Koreans that are pumping it. However, there hasn't been a massive dump to the pumps we have seen so far, it might be coming, it might not be, but generally I talked about why it feels like a necessity for people to place their hands on the reasons why hive is and continues to pump. In this video there are lots of interesting angles which I have weighed in on this matter as this will continuously become a thing for the times we'd see these prices.

We are moving towards 5$ for sure , whatever conspiracy put by whoever - the @threespeak tokenization along with the game declared by dan to eat up HBDs will just create more panic in the market for those who missed the boat.
Well thats another angle to that theory, I don't know how much of a truth is in that theory but the truth is that you're right. It might create more panic for those who might have missed the boat. But I believe everything good has been happening to give. $5 is a possibility

What is needed for the snapshot?
Just have hive ( liquid or powered up) - the snapshot happens based on that.
Oh wow... This means a lot of people will be getting hive.
In the coming months, there will be a lot of movement.. I see both upward and downward movement.
Anyways I see more opportunity to get more hive
Hopefully powered up would be better so we wouldn't have a lot of dumps when SPK is finally released.

The only problem with the 3speak drop is that not enough people outside the ecosystem know about it. I love speak, but they are spread a bit too thin. It'll work out somehow though, smart and good people gathered together will lead to something nice. $5 is reasonable

3speak is going to have their own token system and they are taking the snapshot for the miner coin claimdrop on January 6th to all hive holders. The details of their tokenization are incredibly complicated, I can't remember it all, if you are interested you can search for posts about broca and speak token, maybe by theycallmedan.

Upload and download time have increased a whole lot since steem days. Still doesn’t play on peak on a phone and the interface is weird but they are tokenizing ipfs and trying to change the internet so I understand

I agree completely, and I definitely think this entrenched position softens any retractions that may come after these pumps. Someone needs to fill me in on this Korean narrative though... I was assuming the pumps are likely due to increasing interest on the gaming side with things like #Splinterlands and #AxieInfinity.
Great conversation though, Jose... I feel like this unexpected windfall is actually stressing out a lot of #Hivians, people who like to set public goals and have a clean system to get there. Or maybe some are a bit frustrated because they don't have any liquidity to take advantage of what they see as a temporary blip. I'm with you though: I feel like we've broken new ground, but it's solid enough to stand on and move forward.

Well anxie infinity is totally not part of the chain but Splinterlands is and to some large extent, However, recently Splinterlands has contributed to how hive has been adopted and grown at least in the past one year. That said, there's been so many conspiracy theory especially in the aspects of the Korean, but my major point is that Hive deserves the recent prices and More because lesser projects have even mooned a lot.

Oh damn! Sorry... I thought Axie was a Hive game. My bad. But I agree with you overall: as we see more development and adoption, the value should translate over to the Hive token price.
It is really awesome seeing the price pump up to $3 again, $5 as Christmas gifts won't be a surprise before the year runs out.
Lol every time it pumps, it is the Koreans. My theory is that it is whale buying before the upcoming airdrops. Surprised Leo and Cub hasn't pumped yet though but first things first, i suppose.
It could be that it's not just one thing making all these possible, it could be a collective thing. The idea of the Koreans pumping it, scares me.

I still don't get it how Koreans pumps Hive 😃 but for whatever reasonay the pump continue.
On a serious note though Hive holding on to the pump has impressive, normally a pump and dump rarely behave like this.
I hope Hive remains in the dollar range the era of it valued in cent relation to price might be over.

If it corrects to $1 and stays there for up to 4 or 5 months then that would have been stunning. All in all, Hive has been killing it to the detriment of the naysayers

Nobody can predict prices. I actually sold some HIVE for HBD thinking I could take advantage of a few pumps to increase my bags and it didn't work. Of course I only did it with an amount I was willing to lose out on. Then HIVE went straight to $3 and I took advantage of the pump to set up my Splinterlands Chaos Legion purchases. So I am just enjoying the ride.

Very good video, too much focus on the price will take us away from the fact that this is just the beginning, that the good work should continue and maybe the lowest hive is ever gonna be is 2$.. price is very important in crypto and it has rewarded everybody that has put faith in this projects.

In all the pump that surrounds Hive, I am most grateful for the fact that I jumped in when I did. I would definitely HODL as I watch the coin thrive in the coming years.

Well, the bear market will eventually come to balance up everything, I Just feel and hope that we all get to enjoy these moments. The wisest of people always knows that it's better to build when the prices are actually very low.

Yeah, im skeptical of these people too, I believe it shouldn't be so, truth is, we need to protect the ecosysyem as well and we can do that by powering up. I infact threw in almost everything I owned from steem into buying hive.

I think splinter lands is doing a lot in retaining users.
The question is because it is too sudden and the growth is not matching the price.
I can imagine when people get used to using hive in a daily basis as their go to social network.
The growth of hive matches the price, infact, it hasn't even matched the price until we see $5 upward, that said, im not too expectant, i'm just hopeful.

I strongly believe that Hive is still in its early stages of development and the value of Hive will sustainably rise, partly because of the value orientation on Hive, whose structure will be diffcult to thwart if at all it will be.
The Hive community already has a lot to learn from the likes of Steemit, to not only maintain but increase the value attached to Hive on a longterm.
The community of hive will drive the price of hive up, not the outsiders.

Well this might change with time, i'm completely clueless when it comes to the drop and this is majorly because I haven't been paying attention myself. I guess there will be more clarity and information before the drop happens.
Liquid Hive and HP snapshot on Jan 6th then a claim drop once a month for the speak token. Exciting stuff.
This feels more like an actual rise with the developments going on.
Maybe…just maybe the crypto market might be waking up to what we all know already..perhaps??
The theories are much and reading the comments section, it just gets wider. Truth is everyone wants hive to get above $5 soon but What if we are all wrong? . Maybe its not going to happen soon.

Good points, I think you hit the nail on the head because of the various things happening on the chain, we are gaining more and more value. I feel the way I did when I came back from Steemfest 3 in 2017. There was so much negative stuff that happened since then that I kind of forgot about that optimism.
But now we're back baby!

Hive has definitely de-coupled from Steem. If you go back to March/April 2021, they both rose in tandum, along with lots of other alts.
This time Hive is pumping, but Steem is not, so whatever is happening is Hive specific. (If it was the Koreans behind the pump, Steem would be pumping too, as there are a lot of Koreans on Steemit).
