Building Social & Networking Skills On The Hive Blockchain

avatar

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Social and networking skills are required to survive, stay and thrive in any social platform be it decentralized or centralized. In this video, I talk about a slightly intricate aspect of networking that's majorly unique to the Hive Blockchain and how it's contributing to making it difficult for people to find traction. I talked about the futility of building a transactional relationship and how many Cultivate it wrongly.
I talked about how trust is a translation tool in running a Blockchain as Hive and how this makes the Blockchain better than any other social space.

Networking is important and we mostly prefer decentralized networks these days. Thanks for the discussion and many people can learn from it.

Relationship building I feel is of more importance than the focus on how much monetary value like upvote a person will bring to my growth.
Like you mentioned have a sincere friendship relationship at heart is more important, this is something I prioritize even Hive aside. Friendship shouldn't be parasitic, it should be of mutual benefit in aspects possible without money being the focal point.

Well I hammer on this a lot, some people don't just understand it. They prioritize money forgetting that non-monetary relationships might lead to values that are more life-changing. Some others see building relationships as a one time thing, if it's no longer beneficial to them, they cut it off. Going after the next big thing and whoring after greed. It's pathetic.

Exactly @nathanmars, I think this aspect kills the ability of people to grow their network because of many misplaced reasons, it's like two steps back one step forward

I don't mind interacting with others and I think engagement is key. I don't expect them to be there all the time but I do think a win-win situation is better. I don't think having a little bit extra is really going to matter that much and I comment on what I can.

Well, you comment on what you can and overtime people have become endeared to you naturally. I think we can have Hive become more than what we often envisage it to be instead of just think it as a crypto space or a venture alone. In the long run I believe people should do what they can and leave what they'll get. It comes, it's inevitable.

Trust is what in an important element in the success of a project.
Look what happened with Luna UST after the recent crash, they also have destroyed its user trust which may now takw some time to recover.

Networking is very important in every business and to be successful on hive we must begin to see hive as a business to be successful completely

Wow 🥺 thank you so much @josediccus, this is so helpful. It's so true that some of us when we were introduced to into the Blockchain, we didn't quite have a proper orientation such as this, so the whole focus and concerns was hinged on the idea of "what's in it for me" and when I said some of us, I'm included.
Just like in any business, one must good network system and trust in order to be successful in it.
Thank you so much bro. This indeed has help me in no small way

Yes, well it isn't that we cannot question what's in it for us, it's always questioning what's in it for us all the time. We cannot grow this way. Sometimes focusing on non-monetary benefit is important. But somehow we're subconsciously wired to what's in it for us. Thanks for coming through.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
