The Aim To Attain Maximum Profit & The Loss Mentality In Crypto
The "maximum" is a position most crypto owners, HODlers and traders aim to attain and due to this tendency it's often difficult to measure Profit by any little margin. "The maximum" is the peak and sometimes the way we glorify it creates an illusion. In this video I talked about how people measure Profit by how much they can make, the recklessness of playing the volatility game rather than choosing to do something different from what the market is likely to do.

Omo I kinda convinced someone to buy some crypto and he agreed to invest.. and was expecting the market to move quickly.
One thing people don't understand about the financial market is that they feel that they would make their profit instantly and they don't also understand that the market doesn't move straight upwards . It must create series of Higher-highs and HIGHER-LOWS, fill up imbalnces and the rest.
Well, in reality, we cannot measure crypto with the regular mindset of profit and loss. Plus, we do not know it's apex and we cannot tailor ourselves to completely take profit without being immune to losing.

Anyone trying to time the tops and bottoms is asking to get wrecked. Take some profits when you are up and don't worry about what you didn't get. It's not worth stressing over it because you don't know how prices will react till after the fact.

You've said it all and that was the point I was trying to make. Aiming for the top has it's repercussions and that's why we cannot aim for the peak without getting rekd. No one knows the future. Taking Profit is basically essential, the top or bottom is just greed

Really, the way people lament about how they could have sold a coin befote it dips or buy before it goes up as they have seen..instead of thinking that they may have loosed some if not all. Things may not go as planned at times, the market is volatility itself. Well, like you said @josediccus, it is not entirely our fault, we are stable minded people. But really nothing is really stable, even the fiat in one's account will soon have some percentage off it as per bank charges and all!

We have stable problems, likewise the same with our challenges and problems, hence we tilt towards stable income to take care of these needs. Well, I travelled to a place where the good network was obstructed by series of mountains. I was only able to use Whatsapp and even though I still have to wait for like 10 minutes before a message sends. By the way, I am going to blog about that place soon.😁
