So many newbies got into Crypto during the bullish trends and due to not experiencing bearish situations yet, hence this might make them grow the tendency of make futuristic and definitive plans based on their analysis of bullish situations they're experience. I use to say that a crypto believer is mostly known with their abilities to cope through bearish situations without experiencing FUD or at least handling it really well. Truth is, a lot of newbies to Crypto have the tendency to overrate the bear market and the economic situations that often comes with it. In this video I talk about the realities of the bear market and how to make decisions that might be somewhat favourable.

I haven't been through a crypto bear market but it definitely isn't easy because anything you take out will hurt you in the long run. How long do you think the bear markets generally last? I guess in a way people can build around and have some funds available if they need it for living.

Exactly, anything you take out will actually hurts you because it feels like selling oneself short, and most decisions people make are always as a result of FUD, I have been through the bear market and believe me it's the most difficult thing ever.

First time hearing about a bear market situation, I guess I need to start planning just in case.

Its the most difficult time in crypto, as we're currently in the bubbles, apparently. Don't be caught off guard.

This is very true, I remember when I join steem in 2018 everything was bubbling but the bear market hit I really struggled and sell the steem I accumulate.

Now I worked outside hive and also enjoying the bull but I'm not forgetting what come with bear.

That's why I don't want to buy splinterlands card anymore because the are very expensive and I want to go for packs and build with everything I open instead of wasting money on card

Yeah with Splinterland packs there's a chance that you'll get decent cards, but hopefully one wouldn't be totally disappointed after opening the packs. I do agree the cards are expensive.
What happened with the bear market changed a lot of my orientation. Hahahaha hopefully people who are new with crypto wouldn't make mistakes with underestimating it.

I also saw it. I joined Steem on 2017.05.17. Many people left the platform over the years. Some of them because of the bear market, and some of them for other reasons, for example because of their disappointment in the platform (lack of visibility, lack of interaction, lack of earnings, etc). Nowadays I have more than 1500 followers, but most of them are inactive nowadays. Most of them left the platform years ago. And this is just/only me. Literally hundreds of thousands of people left the platform in the previous 4 years. But fortunately/luckily also many people came. Mostly because of Splinterlands.

Being social creatures we act on our emotions even when we think, we are acting based on thought. That being said FOMO will cause people to jump on board, then a bear market will hit they will hastily sell, losing money and claiming crypto is a scam. This is just how the general public behaves.

Hahahaha I remember that feeling, many would actually come in due to the hype and money only to be hit by the full force of the bear. Market, its a tale that never ends.

This video hit me because, in my early years of delving into crypto, I suffered losses because I was too quick to give in during the bear market situation but I am learning daily to act strategically.

Thank you for such an educative content @josediccus
