It is sad to see Ladies/Guys who are in a toxic relationship yet are not ready to leave the relationship with the excuse that they have given much to the point that going back will be meaningless. This is Indeed a wrong belief. Yes, you might have given much to the relationship but that is not enough reason to subject yourself to several cases of abuse. Your partner who truly cares about you will not subject your life to danger. One thing that we all should know is that if we beg for love or attention from anyone, we will surely beg for it throughout our life. Whatever you have given to the relationship came from your heart and God who sees the heart will reward you. Leave them behind and move on. Your life is precious to be wasted by someone who does not value you.

To leave a toxic relationship doesn't mean that we still have grudges on the other person(s). Every individual has principles that guide his life and when the person whom you considered a friend doesn't share the same principles and believes with you, it is right to discard such a person and stick with like-minded people. There is a saying, " if you hang around five Billionaires, you will become the sixth billionaire and if you hang around five fools you will become the sixth fool". This is something that I agree with because what and who we associate with affects what we turn out to be.

In the end, let us bear in mind that each of us was created with unique attributes and qualities that set us apart from others. As low as you see yourself, you are someone's prayer point. So don't beg for love or affection.

This line hits differently but it's very true.

I see few people in toxic relationships and I wonder how they survive? Why accept to be someone's punching bag?
