The importance of having a financial goal
I believe that one of the main problems that people have financially is not precisely that they earn little money, but that there is no clear goal of how much they want to generate in a month, in a year, in five years.
What I have commented above shows a couple of things that I would like to discuss below:
- There is no goal: I think there are many people thinking that in order to generate money there must be some ideal conditions for it, and they end up never venturing into some business or venture that will allow them to have real stability in the future.
On the one hand they are not able to visualize an amount beyond their monthly earnings in the form of a salary, something that is greater than that, they seem to think it is alien to them, and this mental limitation makes it impossible for them to opt for other things much more than what they are currently earning.
When you talk to someone and you mention to him for example an amount like 1000 dollars, and he is impressed, it will be very difficult for him to generate an amount greater than that. Because he himself is putting a limitation, some time ago I read a phrase that said something like "to be able to see it in your bank account, you must first see it in your mind "... and it is true, don't you think so.
So, this would be a first point that we should overcome, the fact of setting a specific amount that we want to achieve as monthly, daily or annual income, but setting a goal is necessary, because that is the north that we will follow and we should direct our actions to seek that reality.
Another of the main financial problems, at least that I have seen, is that many people only look for a momentary pleasure, that is, they do not project themselves beyond a month, or a couple of months, they want everything immediately, and the reality is that large and lasting projects will necessarily require a lot of effort and for a long time.
People who have managed to accumulate great fortunes and who have been able to create great projects have required years, actually decades to be able to be in the situation of having economic stability, in addition to all the effort they have had to dedicate in that time, which implies that patience, tolerance, constancy and the mind focused on the achievement of the goal is transcendental.
This is how I end this post, highlighting that in order to achieve great things financially, we must have specific goals as well as a long-term vision, if what we really want is something lasting. I would like to know if you agree with me in this approach I know very well that it is not the only thing to consider, however, it is important.
