BACK TO NIGHT CLASSES ๐ŸŒƒ

Hello everyone, trust I meet you all doing good?

It's that time of the semester again when students begins to utilize their night to study rather than get a good night rest. This practice can be found in every Nigerian institution you would ever come across. Although not all student do go for night class and study overnight. But for me, it has been a practice I have practiced since my National Diploma (ND) days till date.

Since I arrived Yabatech for my Higher National Diploma (HND) program, @shamzy (Samuel) has been my favorite study partner and we go for night study together.

The aim of our night study, and generally, is to create more time to cover the course syllabus. Some courses are way too broad and can't just be read and understood all at once.

The midnight has actually been a good time for me to get to assimilate more, and i'm in love with this practice of overnight study. Although some are not in full support of overnight study, likewise my institution, they say it causes serious health risk. But as for me, for now I'll just stick to what works best for me. Peace โœŒ๐Ÿฝ!

Thanks for bringing this up.

For me, although I do prefer reading at night, I have loved to read midnight since my secondary school days because I get to understand faster, I also get less distracted.

But on the contrary, I will never go to a night-class. This is because I have tried Iโ€™d once or twice, but it never worked out well.

Firstly Is the cold at night classes, and the mosquitoes, I really would not concentrate when these are in place. The times I tried night classes, I slept throughout and never achieved anything.

The reason why I would prefer reading at home by midnight is that, I prefer sleeping for at about 2 to 3 hours before I start to read, by doing this, I would never feel sleepy while I eventually wake up to read, and again, I function better at my convenience

Wow, you started reading at midnight since secondary school. That's amazing

Well, talking about night class, I don't mean a gathering where someone teaches the rest. I'm also referring to personal study at midnight. Since I stay in the school's hostel, it isn't really conducive studying in the hostel to study, so we make use of the classrooms.

Firstly Is the cold at night classes, and the mosquitoes, I really would not concentrate when these are in place. The times I tried night classes, I slept throughout and never achieved anything.

All these are challenges experienced over here also. But we've found a way to break through them.

Thanks for stopping by Mr Ay. I appreciate your time.

Lol, I had to discover myself by force. While I was in Junior Secondary 1, I had a very poor result. Ever since then, my parents would force me to read before I go to bed, but it just isnโ€™t working. At midst of the reading, I eventually fall asleep. Sometimes I get punished for it, until I discovered that after about 2 hours of sleep at night, I get so active while reading. That was how it started.
