Learning more about Only1 - My review and why I could not create an account
Today I will try to show you more about Only1; the NFT social media built on Solana!
In case you have missed my re
cent post, you can check it out here This is a link to a 'Learn and Earn' Campaign by CoinMarketCap - where you earn (if you are lucky) their native token $LIKE.
This project triggered my interest so I was looking to find extra information about their social media statistics, and if possible I wanted to create an account & test it.
I could not find any of their users' stats - but I am posting some links and numbers of their community!

There seems to be an upwards trend, and for sure it has to do with the recent campaign by CoinMarketCap.
The community numbers do not seem all that bad; 49K on twitter, 16K members on telegram, they seem to be pretty active on Medium (and I just saw that they are getting ready to be listed on Kucoin!)
The only thing that raised a reddish flag to me was the fact that I see no real people, with real profiles, with real names on their Team members - but for now I will just keep it as a small precaution in my mind.

Click on 'Launch App"
You will need to connect a wallet (I downloaded yesterday the Phantom wallet)
To create a profile ..
Click on your wallet and click on the profile option, then you can add your logo, your image and a description
And as it turned out I could not create a profile because it was 'not authorized by the user' (this is the message I received)
Therefore I decided to send them a message and .. if you wish to see the outcome, you can check out the outcome of this tweet from me to them!

My opinion about Only1; tl;dr
It seems to be a very promising project and it has certain innovations that we have not seen anywhere (i.e. paid DM, where the receiver receives the tip only after they answer to the message) etc

It has done well with the marketing so far and I see potential if the roadmap will be realized.
Cons:
It is not so clear what a user should do. How can an artist create an account? Who should they contact?

I joined their discord but I saw no channels, no activity - even though I verified myself.
The team info should be included at their website

LIKE was one of the SOL tokens that I decided to pick a while back. Others such as RAY, SRM, and TULIP. To be honest, you are the first content creator that I have seen address Only1.
Hopefull we are early and the rest join in time ;)

I believe that their concept is good, however it was impossible for me to join so it is really hard to have a better opinion about it!
Let's see what the future brings. When it comes to social media, one thing is certain - we should be prepared for a big competition in the next years
Definitely, it's really going to hot up which means there will also be a lot of hot air, unfortunately.
