This movie tells the biography of Ray Kroc, and how this fierce wolf managed to obtain the Mc Donald's corporation. I confess that the first time I saw the movie as a way to enjoy my free time, but the second time I saw it, it was my motivation to share with you my opinion but this time making an analysis, a little more scientific and in relation to organizational behavior, associated to the career I studied: Industrial Engineering.

| What influence does culture have on negotiation?

The organizational culture of McDonald's is oriented from the beginning to its customers and their recognition, having as a premise innovation, with its 30 seconds per order system designed by the McDonald's brothers, a variable that revolutionized the business of selling food in the United States and made a difference by changing the concept of self-service to the incorporation of the fast food model.

On the other hand, culture influences people's thinking, communication and behavior, and also affects commercial relationships and business. For this reason, when the McDonald's brothers met Ray Kroc, they were influenced by his ideas. Ray proposed the franchise model for their restaurant. However, the brothers had already tried this model and had not been able to obtain good results. However, both parties had different business ideas, the brothers thought it would work for them to have a single restaurant with a family concept and Ray thought of turning McDonald's into a fast food chain, with the opening of franchises throughout the country.

This dispute between both parties had no conciliation, since the brothers were conservative and felt comfortable with their fast food business and Ray on the other hand, had aggressive, risky ideas and above all was an ambitious, determined and power hungry person, which undoubtedly generated conflicts between both parties. The brothers did not give in to Ray's ideas, but for him this was not an obstacle to advance in his vision of projects. Consequently, his personality and culture led him to take advantage of the innovative ideas of the McDonald's brothers, taking over their business and expanding it nationwide and finally crossing the borders of his country.

| How were the change processes from one business model to another implemented?

Now, Dick and Mac Brothers created a process that revolutionized the food segment in which they competed, inspired by the processes created by Henry Ford in the creation of mass-produced automobiles. Therefore, their processes of change from a self-service model to a fast food system were carried out mainly through the standardization of processes, plant design appropriate to the operations of the restaurant, its utensils and machinery.

Also, through the simulation of menu preparation to achieve shorter times, the study of customer demand, and finally the training of employees to achieve good teamwork and therefore the assurance of product quality, the latter being one of the most important attributes and valued by McDonald's Brothers. They succeeded in imposing in the United States a business concept that was different at the time, delivering products to their customers quickly and with quality, increasing their productivity and efficiency.

| What can be concluded from the film from a business and ethical point of view?

At the beginning, Ray's business relationship with the McDonald's brothers was carried out legally, they signed a contract, where they defined the terms and conditions of the operation of the company, the brothers wanted to maintain a standard of quality in their products, managing a single restaurant, which translated for them in business ethics.

On the other hand, Ray managed to take power and control of the business, taking advantage of the McDonald's innovative ideas and exploiting his persevering, bold and aggressive personality, regardless of the differences between both parties, in the business model they wanted to develop, the business ethics, and going over Dick and Mac's principles. Ultimately, Ray Kroc was able to build his empire through his entrepreneurial mindset, the creation of the real estate business and through the collaboration of people who shared his vision and broadened his perspective.
