Porque agradecer siempre es positivo y nos llena de cosas buenas. Sigo con mi Post Cumpleaños, porque se celebra antes y después, un solo día no es suficiente. Así que hoy les cuento como estuvo mi día de chicas. Sin más a que hacer referencia... ¡Empecemos!

I continue with my Post Birthday, because it is celebrated before and after, one day is not enough. So today I tell you how was my girls day. Without further ado... Let's get started!

Yo para empezar no tenía planes para el lunes. Pensaba que iba a hacer lo mismo de siempre, escribir para el blog, luego hacer mi rutina de ejercicios y por ultimo hacer el almuerzo. Pero en la mañana me escribe mi amiga María Alejandra, saludándome y me comenta que tiene dos entradas para el cine para ver Dr. Strange y que si no tenía problema de volver a ver la misma película. Y yo la verdad es que tengo mala memoria y no sería un problema para mí ver de nuevo la película y más si me pareció tan buena. Esta vez la veríamos en español.

I had no plans for Monday to begin with. I thought I was going to do the same as always, write for the blog, then do my exercise routine and finally have lunch. But in the morning my friend Maria Alejandra writes me, greeting me and tells me that she has two movie tickets to see Dr. Strange and that if I had no problem to see the same movie again. And the truth is that I have a bad memory and it would not be a problem for me to see the movie again, especially if I thought it was so good. This time we would see it in Spanish.

Así que cuadramos desde temprano para vernos en el Sambil. Yo estaba retrasada porque tenía que hacer ejercicio, preparar el almuerzo y además bañarme y arreglarme y eran las 11:30 de la mañana. Así que no hice la rutina de ejercicios de Gym virtual, sino me monte en la bicicleta estática y solo hice 30 minutos. Por suerte mi mamá me había dejado adelantado parte del almuerzo y solo me quedaban por hacer pocas cosas. Lo hice todo rápido, le serví a mi abuelo y comí rápidamente.

So we arranged to meet early in the morning at the Sambil. I was late because I had to exercise, prepare lunch and also bathe and get ready and it was 11:30 in the morning. So I didn't do the virtual Gym exercise routine, but I got on the exercise bike and only did 30 minutes. Luckily my mom had left part of my lunch ahead of time and I only had a few things left to do. I did everything quickly, served my grandfather and ate quickly.

Así que nos encontramos aproximadamente a las 2 de la tarde en la entrada del Sambil (una cadena de centros comerciales de mi país) y a parte de ir al cine teníamos planes de visitar otras tiendas. Pero por la hora, teníamos que ir primero al cine para hacer la cola para comprar las cotufas y demás chucherías. Porque siempre que hay películas tan taquilleras como esta, el cine siempre se llena y más que es el único cine que hay en San Cristóbal.

So we met at approximately 2 pm at the entrance of the Sambil (a chain of shopping malls in my country) and apart from going to the movies we had plans to visit other stores. But because of the time, we had to go to the movies first to stand in line to buy the cotufas and other knick-knacks. Because whenever there are blockbuster movies like this one, the movie theater is always full, especially since it is the only movie theater in San Cristobal.

Llegamos justo a tiempo para ver los trailers. Por suerte mi amiga escogió buenos puestos porque compro las entradas desde el sábado. Así que la estábamos pasando súper bien. Mientras empezaba la película nos estábamos colocando al tanto por todo el tiempo que teníamos sin vernos. Básicamente desde que veíamos clases en la universidad, que eso fue aproximadamente hace 2 años.

We arrived just in time to see the trailers. Luckily my friend picked good seats because she bought the tickets since Saturday. So we were having a great time. As the movie started we were catching up on all the time we hadn't seen each other. Basically since we were watching classes in college, which was about 2 years ago.

Luego de ver la película, salimos a recorrer las tiendas. Mi amiga tenía planes de ir a Multimax para pero los electrodomésticos. Mi mamá también me había mandado a averiguar el precio de las arroceras, puesto que esto nos haría la vida mucha más sencilla en mi casa. Así que fuimos a esta nueva tienda. Tienen variedad de precios y productos. Así que fuimos primero a ver las arroceras y les tome fotos para enviarle a mi mamá. Luego fuimos al área de las Wafleras porque mi amiga quería comprar una. Lo único es que solo había un modelo.

After watching the movie, we went out to browse the stores. My friend had plans to go to Multimax for appliances. My mom had also sent me to find out the price of rice cookers, since this would make life much easier at my house. So we went to this new store. They have a variety of prices and products. So we went first to see the rice cookers and I took pictures of them to send to my mom. Then we went to the waffle iron area because my friend wanted to buy one. The only thing is that there was only one model.

Así que mi amiga terminó escogiendo el único modelo que había que era para niños, porque era de animalitos. Y fuimos a hacer la cola para pagarlos. Luego en la salida, afuera de la tienda esta la zona de prueba. Y allí conectaron la waflera para probar que si encendía y calentaba. Luego, ya se había hecho tarde para visitar la otra tienda, así que decidimos dejarlo para otro día. Y así termino nuestro día. Un poco diferente para variar y para despejar la mente. Bueno chicos, esto fue todo por hoy... ¡Nos Leemos!

So my friend ended up choosing the only model that was for children, because it was of little animals. And we went to stand in line to pay for them. Then at the exit, outside the store is the testing area. And there they plugged in the waffle iron to test if it would turn on and heat up. Then it was too late to visit the other store, so we decided to leave it for another day. And that was the end of our day. A little different for a change and to clear the mind.
