¡Hola Hivers! Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog. Feliz viernes. He vuelto de nuevo, no los había olvidado, solo que ya retome mis actividades con las asesorías académicas y además estoy pasando una situación familiar bastante complicada, mi abuelita esta muy enferma y como les conté antes mi mamá tiene un pie enyesado. Así que he asumido nuevas responsabilidades. Pero en un espacio de tiempo que estuve desocupada me tome un escape de la realidad. Hoy les cuento sobre esto.

Hello Hivers! Welcome once again to my blog. Happy Friday. I'm back again, I haven't forgotten you, I'm just back to my academic advising activities and I'm going through a very complicated family situation, my grandma is very sick and as I told you before my mom has a foot in a cast. So I have taken on new responsibilities. But in a period of time that I was unemployed I took an escape from reality. Today I tell you about it.

¿Cómo empezó este escape? Estaba en mi casa, cumpliendo con mis labores, llegando de hacer mercado de verduras, estaba lavando las mismas y arreglando y organizando todo en la nevera. Cuando suena el timbre y llega de sorpresa uno de mis mejores amigos de la universidad. Vino a visitarme y a visitar a mi mamá y abuela, ya que ellas lo quieren como otro hijo más, otro integrante de mi familia. Se quedo un rato hablando y me dijo que lo acompañara a hacer unas diligencias.

How did this escape start? I was at home, doing my chores, coming from the vegetable market, I was washing the vegetables and arranging and organizing everything in the fridge. When the doorbell rang and one of my best friends from college arrived by surprise. He came to visit me and my mother and grandmother, since they love him as another son, another member of my family. He stayed a while talking and told me to go with him to run some errands.

Yo tenía que ir al supermercado con mi hermano, mi abuelo y mi tia, así que le dije que no podía, sin embargo, mi amigo me planteo la idea que luego de acompañarlo el me llevaría al supermercado porque también tenía que hacer unas compras. Así fue que accedí a su propuesta y me arregle para salir. Fuimos a buscar unas cosas a su lugar de residencia y también a buscar un dinero. Luego de esto nos fuimos al supermercado. Llegamos antes que mi familia, así que decidimos ir a la feria de comida y le dije a mi amigo que comiéramos las famosas galletas de 1$.

I had to go to the supermarket with my brother, my grandfather and my aunt, so I told him that I could not, however, my friend suggested that after accompanying him he would take me to the supermarket because he also had to do some shopping. So I agreed to his proposal and got ready to go out. We went to pick up some things at his place of residence and also to get some money. After that we went to the supermarket. We arrived before my family, so we decided to go to the food fair and I told my friend that we should eat the famous $1 cookies.

Así que fuimos por ellas, 4 galletas calientitas y crocantes por tan solo 1$, a mi la verdad me encantaron. Además calentarlas, les colocaron sirope de chocolate, así que, que más podía pedir, quizás otra ración más jaja. Luego de comer, le dije a mi amigo que tenía ganas de tomarme una cerveza para la sed jaja así que subimos al segundo piso a un bar, por cierto estaba abierto y tenía promoción de cervezas en 2500 pesos colombianos desde las 12 del medio día hasta las 5 de la tarde. Así que ordenamos un par para los 2 y conversamos un rato.

So we went for them, 4 warm and crunchy cookies for only 1$, I really loved them. Besides heating them up, they put chocolate syrup on them, so what more could I ask for, maybe another serving haha. After eating, I told my friend that I felt like having a beer to quench my thirst haha so we went up to the second floor to a bar, by the way it was open and had a promotion of beers at 2500 Colombian pesos from 12 noon to 5 pm. So we ordered a couple for the 2 of us and chatted for a while.

Luego de esto, bajamos al supermercado para empezar con nuestras compras, cada uno tomo su rumbo. Nos despedimos e inmediatamente llegó mi familia, así que todo había salido perfecto, me distraje un poco, pasamos un rato agradable y cumplí con mis responsabilidades. Escaparse de la realidad por al menos un rato, siempre hace bien. Espero que todo vaya de maravilla con ustedes. Esto fue todo por hoy. ¡Nos Leemos!

After this, we went down to the supermarket to start our shopping, each of us went our own way. We said goodbye and immediately my family arrived, so everything had gone perfectly, I was a little distracted, we had a nice time and I fulfilled my responsibilities. Escaping from reality for at least a little while is always good. I hope everything is going great with you. That's all for today, see you soon!
