in the Bible,there is only one church but in recent days,there are more than 50000 different churches and this is not right.

some people even go as far as naming their own churches after themselves.

apostle Paul was called into the church of GOD,he dint open his own church.
Galatians 1:13-15 (KJV) For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

the church was called the church of GOD in the Bible,it wasn't called after the name of man or another name.
2 Corinthians 1:1 (KJV) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

most people in the days of old that were called into the church were from the pharisees, Sadducees and the jews, they joined the church of GOD and they didn't open their own church.
John 11:52 (KJV) And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

we have one body which is the church and one spirit.
Ephesians 4:4 (KJV) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

the reason why GOD called the people into the church is for them to worship him.

there are eleven verses or passages or lets call it chapters that the church of GOD was mentioned.
but we will mention a few here.

1: 1 Corinthians 11:16 (KJV) But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

2:. 1 Corinthians 11:22 (KJV) What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

3:. Acts 20:28 (KJV) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

4:. 1 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

5:. 1 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

what is for GOD should be called by the name of GOD and it should be for his glory
Isaiah 43:7 (KJV) Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

the name of GOD is the most powerful of all,it is a defense tower.
John 17:11 (KJV) And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

the name of GOD is an edifice where we run to and be saved.
Proverbs 18:10 (KJV) The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe..

GOD'S church is called by his name.
a good name is better than silver and gold.
Proverbs 22:1 (KJV) A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
