prayer meeting held on zoom 09/11/2021
we were admonished to not lower our guard just yet, we should be at alert and observe the guidelines put down by the government so as to be able to cub the pandemic.
our service to GOD,our fulfilment of our obligation in our service to GOD we should trust in GOD.
we should always know and trust that GOD watches over us.
Isaiah 57:1 (KJV) The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
we should do everything in faith, work in faith,hope and love
1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV) And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
there should be love in everything we do,as we have decided to do the works of GOD, we should do it with love and all our heart.
1 Corinthians 13:2 (KJV) And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
we should avoid eye service.
we should do everything in love, first the love of GOD and the love for man
love can be developed in a man, listening can bring about faith.
Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
for us to call,we must believe in whom we call
Romans 10:14-15 (KJV) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
our obedience to the words of GOD is very essential.
we should do everything in love,hope and in faith especially giving of arms or help or giving of offerings.
2 Corinthians 9:5-14 (KJV) Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
contributions or offerings in church is voluntary and if it is forced,it is no more a contribution.
offerings are according to what a man purpose in his heart.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV) Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
it is according to how a man sows,he will reap.if you dont sow, you won't reap anything.
if GOD sees that you are not sowing sparingly,GOD will bless you and you will be a delight of GOD.
we should do everything that has to do with giving cheerfully and in faith.
