I'm Paid to Play on Hive - First Splinterlands Battle Won

Happy weekend to you and your loved ones. So excited to connect with you again after some das of inconsistency. Circumstances beyond my control happened. I'm better and everything will just get fine.

Today happens to be the happiest day in my life so far in my splinterlands adventure. I have learnt to always persevere to handle my dreams. Letting go and giving up may sometimes sound like a better option, but there is always the reward for patience, endurance and perseverance.

Splinterlands game is where the fire to get more serious on hive caught me. So everything turned around in the splinterlands community. My interest in the game was inspired and I have been trying my best to learn, reach out, practice and take some crucial steps. Some of the steps get to success and others do not go as planned. In all, hive has always rewarded my learning adventures.

The big news - I won my first Splinterlands battle!

I won my first modern ranked battle on Splinterlands. Just check this out. that may sound weird to some , especially those who win at top leagues and tournaments and the likes. It is a big win for me. i had almost told myself that battling may not be for me and maybe I stick to making posts, buying cards and staking tokens. I did not know that today will be different.

It was almost like a joke. My heart was leaping seconds to the end of the battle because felt I was losing. The result dialogue box read something different from what my heart printed. I won! Even when the battle didn't come with a crypto reward, probably because I am yet to purchase my spellbook, something big has happened to my account and splinterlands data. I am motivated to buy the spellbook in a few days.

My account rating increased by 20 (+20). Rating determines a player s rank and tier advancement within the leagues. Below is a screenshot of my recent 3 battles, two of which was lost. Kelya Frendul, Ice Pixie, Deeplurker, Diemonshark and Choas Agent were my card picks totaling 21 manna.

The card combining skills learnt in the battle is a priceless gift. I am getting more intentional about it and the top looks beautiful. @Belemo shared about a scholarship, I hope it is something a learner like me can leverage.

splinterlands game is a play to earn game. A player is expected to pay $10 to unlock more features of the game. That amount is far less than the value to unlock in the game. Despite not yet paying, I have earned so much already from splinterlands in terms of post earnings, card openings and other sources.

It was first paid to learn. Now another badge has been added - Paid to play. I had been paid to be well and fit and soon, I will be paid to sleep. Every moment spent here is profitable to anyone who know what to do. When I was younger, those who played gems too much were considered unserious, but splinterlands speaks different. Fun is paying and I can attest to it.
