I opened a Riftwatchers Pack Today and realized $12 worth of Cards

Dear friends. Compliments of the day!

My journey in the Splinterlands game is getting more interesting each day. Two months ago when Riftwatchers was created and I bought two packs and opened one, I felt like I met my best wit 2 gold foil cards inside. Here's the report. All ofthe 5 cards were worth $5.89. Remember, Riftwatchers packs were sold for $5 worth of SPS and 1 VOUCHER. Below is what I wrote in that post:

The value of all 5 cards added together sums up to $5.89 as at the time of opening. $0.16 + $0.18 +$0.42 + $2.56 + $2.57 = $5.89. That should be a bit greater than the Value I purchased the pack. It was about $5 worth of SPS and 1 VOUCHER.

As of today, some of the cards have improved in value and all are worth about $7 in all. I have rented two of the cards and receiving some 0.5 DEC rewards everyday. That is pretty cool for a starter like me.

The Bigger Luck happened today

Do I call it luck? Whatever it is, it is an awesome testimonial. I had the inside push to open one more pack of my Riftwatchers and I didn't hesitate. I read somewhere that to have more chances of opening good cards, you need to buy some portions. I needed some DEC to make that purchase.

I purchased and transferred 300 DEC from my tribaldex wallet and purchase 2 quantities of legendary and Alchemy portions respectively. that did cost me about 180 DEC. I was ready to open the pack.

I headed to the packs store and opened the 5 cards all at once. The beauties I saw was so beautiful to behold. There were no gold cards at sight and I thought may be I would just have some average cards at least worth $5 as in the previous case to play battles with.

When favour hits you hard

On opening each of the cards to know their value, what I saw kept me gazing for some seconds to be sure. What my eyes saw were so beautiful. Having played splinterlands battles for some weeks now, I noticed a few special abilities on two of the cards and they looked like some super characters.

Behold these were EPIC cards. One a water summoner and the other a Life summoner. Aquatus and Ilthan made my day with $3.46 and $7.7 price tag on them respectively.

Long story made simple, just these two summoner cards has covered the cost of two rifwatchers packs. The other three summed up to $1. I am grateful. No ony is my deck growing in power but in value too. I hope that the rental value of the cards would improve soon as well as the card prizes, so I can sell and make some profits to buy more packs.
