Nigerian Hustler Mentality and Crypto Currency

Nigerians are one of a kind when it comes to this aspect. If you know any true Nigerian, you will know about this. I’m referring to the genuine Nigerians that love to hustle and work to earn money. Don’t get me wrong there are the negative Nigerian hustlers who intentions are to scam and dupe people but that’s not what I want to focus on.

First of all the government is really bad and they make things worst for the people, but yet Nigerians still find ways to beat all odds and survive. While this is a good quality for Nigerians i think of the negative side also. This is because the government is oppressing and depriving Nigerians from a lot of things, but because of their hustler’s mentality and their willingness to pass through it, it allows the government do more bad things without facing the law. Because they end up saying “ Nigerians will find a way to survive”.

Nigerians know how to make something from a lot of things, they are the typical “when life gives you lemon, make a lemonade “. That is why lots of Nigerians tend the be amongst the best when they leave the country to a more favorable country. Nigeria has failed Nigerians, hence the reason almost everyone wants to relocate out of the country for greener pasture.

This is the reason Nigerians strive mostly on things that are not controlled and handled by the government. For instance Cryptocurrencies. Because the government can’t control crypto currency due to its decentralized nature, Nigerians use it to survive. Nigerians have been trading crypto for like 5 years and the global crypto market to testify that this is true. According to a survey done in 2020 Nigeria was one for the countries with the most owned crypto currency.

Of course the government had to ban financial institutions from getting involved but still Nigerians use P2P (peer to peer) effortlessly to trade cryptocurrencies. If you are a Nigerian and you keep working hard legally to beat all odds the country has put you through, am here to tell you to continue and your hard work will pay off sooner than you expect.
