Hello there. First I wanted you guys to know that this game's ruleset is not a MELEE MAYHEM, but it can be considered one because both I and my opponent only chose MELEE monsters. This is why I'll be sharing my strategies in the MELEE MAYHEM ruleset, as well as my thoughts on the match and why I used this lineup.

BATTLE OF THE DAY

My strategy for this match was limited because I don't have a great fire deck and only have monsters from the melee based NEUTRAL and DRAGON splinters, and since the game only had these two splinters available, I expected the enemy to go for a heavy melee lineup as well, which is why I went for a heavy SNEAK lineup and picked CREEPING OOZE to ensure I have the speed advantage, and picked two expendable monsters to sacrifice to buy time for my damage dealer to eliminate all the enemy monsters.

This is not the best lineup for this game, but I am limited to the monsters available and I need to make them work. The most important aspect of this game was the SPEED because in a melee battle, the first one to take its turn wins the match because it's all about your offensive prowess.
The best monsters in the MELEE MAYHEM ruleset are those with the abilities THORNS, SHIELD, DEMORALIZE, or monsters with two basic attacks like MELEE + MAGIC or MELEE + RANGE.
