Moss en The Shining Girls interpreta a Kirby Mazrachi, quien trabaja en un periódico como asistente. Kirby fue atacada años atrás por un tipo que la dio por muerta y la dejó yaciendo en el suelo, a raíz de ese desafortunado evento la vida de Kirby cambió por completo, pues comenzó a experimentar cambios repentinos en su vida, dichos cambios, se pueden explicar cómo paradojas que por cambios en los hechos del pasado cambia el presente de Kirby.

Como había dicho antes la protagonista de la serie sufre cambios en su realidad que no sabe ni puede explicar cómo ocurren, sufre de lagunas mentales en su día a día, a tal grado que no recuerda donde vive, ni con quien está casada, ni a que se dedica pues no ha vivido nada de esto, pues su realidad ha sido cambiada constantemente. Este elemento es integrado en la serie de manera magistral pues nos va guiando de la mano y nos va revelando como es que el dicho asesino ha escapado y siempre parecer estar un paso delante de las investigaciones y de la policía.

Ah por cierto no he dicho que el asesino es actor británico Jaime Bell, quien mayormente reconocido por interpretar Billy Elliot.
