My son. Reseña y mi opinión acerca de la película
No tengo el privilegio de ser padre y quizás por esto no pueda saber cual sea el sentimiento que se pueda llegar a sentir si se llegase a perder un hijo.
Pero que pasaría por la mente de un padre si alguno de sus hijos es raptado, ¿Qué haría? ¿Cómo sería su actuar?
Este es la premisa de la película "My son" (mi hijo por su traducción literal del inglés). Una trama sencilla, pero que esconde y alberga una cantidad de posibilidades en la que puede terminar.
Resumen
James McAvoy y Claire Foy son los padres del niño que es raptado, en principio no se sabe porque alguien querría llevarse al hijo de ambos, pero en el desarrollo de la película se va explicando porque.
El rapto se da cuando en un paseo aparentemente escolar, el hijo de ambos se queda en compañía de otros niños y de la maestra, de acá surge la pregunta ¿Por qué el hijo de ellos?
En un principio Edmond Murray, personaje de McAvoy, empieza a dudar y sospechar de todos principalmente de la pareja de su ex-esposa, pues cree que es él quien le ha hecho daño a su hijo, la desesperación de Edmond hace que termine en la cárcel por unas noches.
Es esa misma desesperación de no saber que le puede estar pasando a su hijo que comienza a pensar mejor y descubre que una camioneta había estado vigilando a su hijo en este campamento.
Con habilidades detectivescas Edmond logra ir dando con las personas que tienen capturado a su hijo. Edmond logra llegar al lugar y puede tomar de vuelta a su hijo, cargándose a los raptores que están involucrados, dándose cuenta la gran red que esta detrás de este rapto.
Esta película cuenta con un escenario bellísimo, al menos para mi lo es, el lugar es un sitio montañoso y rural.
Lo que hace que la se nos regale bellos paisajes a cada rato o bueno yo disfruto de lugares así.
También disfruto de los planos que tiene la película no son nada fuera de lo común pero significa que no sean buenos.
La acción y el suspenso del film llegan a mitad de este, y la verdad es que es muy bueno, los planos son muy cerca de los personajes por lo que hace que se sienta muy personal además, que McAvoy es un grandísimo actor que sabe como transmitir las emociones correctas, el drama es puro y hace que nos quedemos pegados a la pantalla.
Se dice que esta película es un remake de una cinta francesa que lleva el mismo nombre, la verdad es que no sabía esto, y tendría que ver el film francés para poder hacer una comparación entre ambos.
Lo que me llama la atención y si de verdad es cierto y no es solo para dar publicidad a My Son es que McAvoy no recibió guion, ni script, ni se le dijo como terminaría la película, por lo que tuvo que improvisar todos sus diálogos, creo que esto es posible no lo veo inalcanzable pero hablaría de lo buen actor que es McAvoy.
Teniendo esto en cuenta lo que es un plus para My son le doy una puntuación aprobada de 7,2/10. La película vale la pena de ver.
