Grease Fires are No Joke

Hey guys I hope you're doing well today. Last night I had a grease fire and learned exactly what not to do. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way and my dominant hand oh, my right hand, is severely burned and I'm unable to use my hand. My first thought was fuck how am I going to post on hive. Then my wife offer to write for me. What a trooper she is. I decided to take her up on that maybe next time but for this one I am writing using Speech-to-Text which is infuriating.

I'll spare you the picture of my fucked up hand and just say this. When there's a grease fire don't panic. Don't do what I did. Also if you're going to move the pan that has grease on fire in it be very careful not to slush it onto your hands. I don't know how long it's going to take for my hand to recover. But I'm having to do everything with my left hand which is a challenge. This shit won't stop me though. It might slow me down just a tad because doing so even the most basic tasks like wiping my ass is difficult LOL.

I'm currently in excruciating pain I've taken ibuprofen, I have antibiotics, I have lidocaine. At this point I think I'm just going to try to get some sleep since I was up all night and horrendous pain. I just wanted to drop in and say I love you guys and thank you for all the support. I'm nothing without you. I also I realize now that I often take for granted having two hands to work with. No my hand isn't gone but it is completely useless as I can't move it and touching things hurts with it. Unfortunately I won't be able to play GTA V which is kind of fucked.

Alright I'm off to take more pain medication and try to take a nap but I will be back tomorrow with more of my regular shit. Hopefully I'll be able to think about something other than this searing pain in my hand. Have a good day frens
