$100k WAX Treasure Hunt - How to Participate!

hey there.

I hope you're doing well today. It has been 1 week since I suffered severe burns to my dominant hand, and the recovery is extremely slow. I have a feeling It's going to be a very painful new few weeks. It has already been the most pain I've ever experienced. Sorry, just feels good to rant about it. Anyway, I wanted to share something really cool with you today.

Wombat Wallet

Wombat is a wallet similar to Metamask because it can exist in your web browser as an extension. The major difference is it supports EOS, WAX, TELOS, and Ethereum. Pretty awesome! I might end up making this one of my primary wallets. I don't know if it supports BSC, Polygon, etc... but I'll be testing it. So Wombat has announced their "waxpedition" which is essentially a treasure hunt designed to bring attention to projects around the WAX ecosystem. I can tell you from a ton of experience that WAX is an amazing place to explore. Why not earn some rewards for it?

It's pretty simple - Wombat will announce each step in the quest via Twitter. All you have to do is follow the directions to participate. For the first stop on the journey, we'll be visiting Alcor Exchange and interacting to the exchange.

Wombat Setup

In order to be eligible, you need to be using Wombat wallet. Here's how to get set up and make it happen.

First - head to Wombat website and install the browser extension.

Click sign up and pick new or Import wallet. I'm importing another WAX wallet.

I chose Google sign in for simplicity, but there's a few different options.

Create a password... Make sure it's easy to remember or write down.

Select the WAX blockchain... Then create or import wallet with private key. Back up if you want to.

You're ready to go.

Now head to Alcor Exchange and we're going to swap a little WAX for BLU per the guidelines. Hopefully you already had a bit of WAX. If not, there's a plethora of ways to grab some.
