The Ethereum network completes the latest updates

Days before the estimated date of Ethereum's transition to Proof of Stake (PoS), the protocol passed through its last shadow fork.

The account of research and engineering firm Nethermind took the news to Twitter to reveal that the network went through its last remaining fork before the merger upgrade.

The transition through the latest update called "Mainnet-Shadowfork-13" (the last shadow fork before the merge) was successful for all nodes.

The consolidation process is the result of many years of research and development, and it is a very complex process.

Shadow forks are designed to help developers test synchronization assumptions in an effort to verify network integrity during irreversible upgrades.

84% of Ethereum nodes are rated as “Merge Ready,” according to data from EtherNodes.

Current estimates based on the hash rate put the date of the major upgrade event as September 15, meaning there are only 4 days left.

For this only one question remains, will this action affect the price for positive?
