The Weekly LBI Contest

Bitcoin is heating up

After several months in which crypto seemed to be quietly rippling. In which we could all relax after the rollercoaster experience we had earlier this year, the tension seems to be building again. And that, of course, has everything to do with a Bitcoin price that seems to have moved unnoticed back into the $60K price range.

It looks like we're getting ready for the next wild ride, and how will it go this time? Are we going to hit the $100K? Or do we continue to $75K, only to fall sharply back to $50K, or even below that?

No one can say right now, but the fact is that Bitcoin history shows that we should at least get ready for a scenario where we could see some hefty price movements again. Up or down is not clear yet… although it seems more likely that we will see an upward movement first with everyone shouting that they are hoping for a dip to buy more.

That's actually funny, if you think about it. Many people do not buy when Bitcoin has gone through a free fall because “Bitcoin is broken”. But then after a few months of stabilization and slowly climbing a strong upward rise, the same people who earlier shouted “Bitcoin is broken”, are shouting that they want a dip to get in and that the price is now too high to enter.

My gut feeling hasn't always been right...so don't worry too much about it, but right now I feel like we're on the eve of a wild rollercoaster ride, where Bitcoin is going to blow every Bitcoin critic away. All I can hope is that Bitcoin will take the altcoins in tow in this wild ride ahead.

The Contest

One of those altcoins is the Helium we looked at last week. And what I saw of that gave me hope. It made me happy. Even though I don't have Helium (yet), and the miner hasn't been ordered (yet) ... I still got a very happy feeling from this strong performing coin.

When I wrote the blog about Helium, this coin was around 22 dollars. How different it was last Friday, October 29!

The price of 1 Helium at that time was $28.69.

And most of you didn't see that coming. We even had one person giving a prediction of almost zero, but I think he hadn't read properly and was still forecasting the previous week's contest, the price of FYDcoin.

The one who came closest with his prediction this week, and who we are going to congratulate on the 5 LBI that will magically appear in his Hive-Engine wallet is @aiovo

Congratulations @aiovo!

The New Question

Then quickly move on to this week's new question. And that, of course, is about TotemFi's TOTM.

What do you think 1 TOTM will be worth next Friday, November 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon Central European Time?

Of course I would like to see the answers here in a comment, BEFORE Thursday evening 6 pm ... CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME

Good luck everyone, have a nice week and see you soon!
