500 Hive Power Delegated To Asean Hive Community
I would like to say thanks to justinparke. He brings the community alive. He always gives comments to almost all the authors in the Asean Hive community.
Before, I joined this community, I searched for communities that I could share local content. I tried to join a community from my country, but it looked like it was not active. There were only a few authors. The engagement was also low.
I dropped by the Asean Community a few months ago. I decided to join. I was warmly welcomed. I delegated small power. Then I felt at home in the community. I delegated more power. Now, 500 hive powers are delegated to @asean.hive .
What are the advantages of delegating power to asean.hive?
Hive blogging is different from self hosted blogging. Power is one of the indicators of success on this platform. Gaining power solely is hard work. Crowd power is the solution. With great power, the Asean hive can provide greater rewards to qualified authors. Therefore, authors will be more motivated to create more varied and higher quality content.
Good quality content, and high engagement rates will attract curators to the Asean hive. The more curators who join, the more authors will get a bigger reward.
I don't know the exact date on which the Asean Hive Community was founded, but this community is still relatively young. I think there should be an anniversary for the Asean Hive Community.
500 Hive Power is nothing if I am alone. However, if there are 100 members with 500 Hive Power, there will be 50,000 Hive Power.
A community will be big when its members provide support, even if it is small. Don't be discouraged by little support.

😅When my hive power higher will delegate more to @asean.hive as I also feel at home at Asean Hive Community too. My hive power still low for me as I need more resources credit to make engagements.

You leave me speechless, you are a legend in this community. This post leaves me wanting to express a bit of my plans for the future of the ASEAN Hive Community.
I have no desire to be rich, and I want nothing beyond a healthy family, a shiny tuk-tuk, a piece of land big enough to feed my family, and a home big enough to give us a place to sleep and cook. You know of the economic crisis and burden my family and I face in Suriname, and as I write this message, they are in transit at airport in Amsterdam, on their way back to Cambodia.
When I am able to reunite with them in Cambodia, buy a piece of land and build a simple home, Hive will become our full-time source of employment, and the cheap cost of living will allow us to give back so much more to the community. I realize many of us ASEAN Hivers are financially poor, and the income from Hive can change many of our lives, maybe Singaporeans not so much 😉.
However, the monthly income generated from @aseanhive curation alone is enough to keep my family above the poverty line in Cambodia and live a somewhat comfortable life. As delegations increase with time, I will able to live a decent life from the curation HP only, although yet I have no intentions of powering down anytime soon. I plan to increase the beneficiaries of @asean.hive posts to 100% back to the community help economically empower other ASEAN Hivers once I am economically secure in Cambodia, and I think this will grow the community tremendously.
We already have the attention of many Hive curation whales, things are only going to get better with time. Who knows, maybe one day Southeast Hive content will be the lion's share of posts on Hive. 🚀
We all trust your dedication to the community. We have known your contribution to Hive platform. Hive is not a short term blogging but it is a long term platform. Everyone will take benefit from the growing of the community in the next 5 , 10 years or even to our children in the future from this platform and community.
