An Amateur - Patching My Son’s Bike Tire

My son told me that his tire was getting flat. He did not ride his bike for days. I thought I would take his bike to a repair shop. In the evening, I gathered around with my neighbors. I talked about my son’s bike. A neighbor told me that patching a bike tire was easier than a motorcycle’s tire. The leak needed to be patched with a cut unused tire. What I needed was only a little glue that had strong sticking power.

I asked Bapak Soeharto. He works for a kitchen set company. He always uses strong glue in his workplace. He said he had some glue at home. In the morning, I went to Bapak Soeharto and asked for the glue. Yes, I got the glue.

Hemm… I thought about the unused tire. Who has it? I looked for it in an area near my house. Yes… I got it. There is an unused tire. I cut a little and brought it home. I thought my neighbor still used the unused tire as a rope.
Time to action to be a tire patcher .. LOL

I took out the tire, and cleaned the leak with a knife and an iron saw. I made sure the area on the side of the leak was clean. I cut the unused tire to the same size as the cleaned part of the leak. I applied the glue to both sides. I waited around three minutes to get the glue dry.
I put and pressed the cut tire onto the leak. I waited for a minute. I fill the small container with water. I pumped the tire and put the leak in the water. ……………...done I did it . I was successful in patching the leaky tire. LOL I was very happy.
I replaced the tire on the wheel. It needed five minutes. I pumped the tire and my son’s bike is now repaired. It is now normal again so that my son can ride his bike today.
