Beautiful Landscapes of Jayagiri - Lembang Bandung - Indonesia

Jayagiri ,Lembang , Bandung , Indonesia is located at the foot of the Tangkuban Perahu Mountain. It is in the north of the city of Bandung. It is the name of the village. In the past, most Jayagiri people were cow milk farmers, but today some of them have changed professions to be workers in Bandung city.
Lembang is at an altitude between 1,312 to 2,084 meters above sea level. It consists of mountainous area. There is an active crater on top of Tangkuban Perahu mountain.
Lembang has been exploited as a tourist object. There are some villas and bungalows at the foot of Mount Tangkuban Perahu. One of the villages that is very popular is Jayagiri.

Jayagiri is now developed into a forestry tourism park. There are camping grounds, hiking tracks, and some villas. The hiking track is not too high, so it is good for beginners. If you want to track to the Jayagiri mountainous area , you'd better start early in the morning before the sunlight. It was about 5:00 AM. You can see a beautiful sunset from a high altitude with a view of green mountains.

There are two kinds of forests in Jayagiri. The first, the pine tree forest or homogenous forest. The second is the rain forest. It is a heteregenous forest. Most of the camping and the hiking tracks are located in the pine tree forests.

The air is cold in Jayagiri. For Indonesians, the temperature of around 19 to 20 Celsius is quite cold. I live in Bekasi, near Jakarta. The common temperature is around 25 - 32 Celsius.

We can see the sunrise from the top of Jayagiri mountain.
