On The Street For All Day

I spend all day on the street with my motorcycle and my cooler box. I sell my ice. In the evening, I always meet with my friend @giono. I spent the rest of the time telling stories about my customers and everything.
When I was having a rest, I saw a bear clown who walked slowly along the street. He was called "Badut". He walked along the street. He got a little money from travellers. Most of them are kids. Drivers or riders who were on the street usually gave the Badut a small amount of money, from IDR 500 to IDR 10,000.

A few years ago, I talked to a man who worked as a Badut on the street. He rented the costume. He should pay IDR 30,000/day or $2/day.
The income of the Badut is not certain. If he is lucky, he will earn a lot of money from kids who take photos with him. The tips for taking photos are varied. Badut does not charge a fee for taking photos with him.

The day was very hot. I sit under a shady tree. Today, I made a good sale. I had new customers who tried my ice. All my ice mambos use natural ingredients. Most of my customers were riders and drivers. They did not live far from where I was. Students with their moms from school liked to stop and buy my ice mambos.

It was around 5.15 p.m. My friend who used a tree-cycle would stop for a while. He would enter the housing area, where there were a lot of kids playing around.
And the Badut walked slowly. He waved to me on the side of the street. We all knew that we looked for money on the street. We had the same emotion. Greeting and smiling at all the peddlers made me have a lot of friends here. Yeah.. life on the street was not an easy thing. It was different from when I was teaching kids in a classroom.

Thanks for reading my post, I hope you enjoy my story.
