Bekasi is a city in the east of Jakarta. Most people in Bekasi are urban. There are new houses being built in farming areas.That is a bad situation for farmers. Bekasi has turned into an industrial city. There are more than two big industrial parks in Bekasi. Everyday, thousands of people move from areas around Bekasi to the industrial parks.

People prefer to use motorbikes for their transportation. a motorcycle is a cheap means of transportation. It does not depend on the line. Riders are free to ride. They can move freely in a narrow street or in a traffic jam. It is a common view if you visit Indonesia and see hundreds of motorcyclists on the road.

In the rush hours, thousands of motorcycles will flood the main street. When schools are open, senior school students also like to ride motorbikes. These days, schools are open after covid. The streets have become dense again. Schools start from 7.00 and 8.00 in the morning.
When you go out on workdays at 6.30, you should race with students and workers on the street. The morning shift for workers starts the same as for school students. It is around 7.00 to 8.00 AM.
