Be Tougher when life becomes tough

Life isn’t a bed of roses and everyone by now knows this. My favorite term to assess life is that life isn’t fair, but we must find a way to make it tune to our favor. It’s true that we might not always get it right, but consistency and persistence are two key skills one should inculcate in our daily activities.

One thing I have come to terms with is the situation of things in the country I reside in. Living is becoming harder in the country and leaving isn’t an option now due to the funds. Due to the fact, I have developed a tough skin to some issues which might have to break me once upon a time and that shows progress in my life.

And the bitter truth is that the situation of things does not seems to be changing any time soon. Some countries are experiencing worsts and yet some individuals residing in that country have chosen to focus on the positives and make the best use of the resources available at their disposal. The truth is life is hard everywhere but how it affects people is different.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, every country has its own issues that they are in and this issue could translate as opportunities for some while others see it as a problem. Looking out for the positives in all situations is the right way to go far in life and conquer all of life's problems. How we choose to look at life also determines how far we go.

If all we ever wanted was available at the tip of our fingers then the room for innovation will be lost as our brains will be in comfort and it won’t challenge itself for more. While that is not necessarily a bad thing, it is just that the ability to think and challenge oneself will be defeated as the need for it isn’t in existence.

So, the key takeaway from this note is that regardless of how tough life is on you at the moment, don’t for one moment make it break you. In fact, stay in its face just to annoy it and it will not be long before life itself gives in and crumble at your feet and that’s being about the sweet scent of victory. So, in closing, don’t be weak and kill every thought of giving up in situations that ordinarily would require you to give up.
