Last week brought forth unseen and unexpected results and that’s what makes the sport very interesting to watch. The feeling of uncertainty causes a rush in you and leaves you with no choice but to crave for more. The paragraphs below will share more light on the outcome of the past weekend football that left many in shock.

With Chelsea lining up against Norwich without any recognized striker as both Lukaku and Werner sustained an injury in the last match, many expected Chelsea to struggle. Chelsea's performance on that Saturday proved otherwise as Tuchel found a winning formula and an unlikely hero win mount who got the match ball due to his three goals contribution. Chelsea dominated from start to finish and Norwich could count themselves lucky to concede just seven times.

Real Madrid made it 4 wins in a row against Barcelona as they both face each other in the El Classico yesterday. The match ended 2-1 but both teams were top-notched as they played each other strategically, only for Real Madrid to edge out through some individual brilliance. Barcelona might have lost but the positives in the match are that Aguero scored for the first time for the club and the young lads proved that they are no pushover.

The theatre of dreams turned into a nightmare for host Manchester united as they were humbled and battered by Liverpool right in front of their fans. The 5-0 thrashing represents one of the biggest and heaviest defeats that Manchester united has suffered in their history at Old Trafford and that has piled more pressure on the manager, Ole. Before the first half finished, more than half of the seats were empty and that shows the fan's frustration at the team and at the coach. Many are calling for the coach to be axed but the decision is yet to be taken by the board.

Another talking point is from Serie A as Napoli dropped points for the first time as they were held by Roma. The game ended 0-0 but the real talking point was the coach of both teams getting sent off. The match was very heated and Mourinho got his marching orders in the middle of the first half game while Napoli coach Spelleti got his own marching orders in the second half. In my opinion, both teams deserve a point as they fought tooth and nail to overcome one another in the tightly contested match.

Messi continues his drought in league1 as PSG and Marseille played a goalless draw. Many expected the match to be tough and exciting and it gave us that. The only thing missing was goals, but the match wasn’t short of fun though. The highlight of the match was when a pitch invader disrupted the flow of the match when PSG was pushing the attack and it took the help of the steward and police to get the pitch invader out of the game.
