So in last night's Carabao cup games, two out of three ended in penalties with Chelsea holding their nerve to put out a brave Southampton and Sunderland beating QPR.

Tonight we see the other final 5 games in this round of 16 including Manchester City and Liverpool, but looking down the fixtures, I chose this one as being a possibly great game and difficult to predict...

Despite the differing league positions, I'd suggest that both Leicester and Brighton are playing at a very similar level of football this season.

Leicester had a good win at the weekend against Brentford to add a little solidity to their league position which was a very hard fought win but their form still seems to be consistently inconsistent!

If Brenden Rogers decides not to tinker with that team, then another quality performance from Belgium midfielder, Youri Tielemans could be the key to stopping Brighton play their free flowing game.

We all saw Brighton get destroyed by City at the weekend and to bookend this midweek cup game, they will be facing Liverpool next weekend so I'd thing that Graham Potter will be resting key players and trying to rebuild shattered confidence before Saturday.

The aim of European football next season trumps winning the league Cup so I fully expect to see a second string turning out for Brighton tonight!

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
