I'm not in the best of moods this morning! Without a doubt, the worst performance I have seen from Leeds in the last 4 years. They were slow, clueless, disinterested and absolutely rubbish!

I know we were missing Kalvin, Raphina, Bamford and Firpo but come on, we have a tight, well-drilled squad who should have been able to step up to take this game easily.

Leeds were lacking in energy and were so slow. I've no idea what went wrong. We are absolutely missing Alioski on the wing. He started so many attacks and was untirable. No one came out of the game yesterday with any credit and some of them weren't fit to wear the shirt.

Ok, enough. At least Scum lost which meant for one lucky player, there's a double prize. Full details at the end but until then, let's have a look at today's game which is...

Newcastle are full of the joys of spring after finally getting rid of Mike Ashley and replacing with someone called Amanda Stavely who is backed by the whole country of Saudi Arabia... They still have hapless Stevie at the moment though so I can't really see the possibility of any sudden, vast improvement of form. The happiness of the takeover will be short-lived as the reality of how poor they are, comes back to bite them.

Newcastle sit plumb bottom of the league with no wins and just 2 points after 7 games. They are this year's Sheffield United.

On a more positive note, they have talismanic Callum Wilson available again as well Jamaal Lascelles, Joe Willock and Jonjo Shelvey who are all returning from injury.

Tottenham are hardly lighting things up at the moment with their main-man Harry Kane looking disinterested and totally pissed off after not getting a transfer in the close season. Son is carrying the whole team at the moment and after recent mixed performances will want to get this game in the bag as a definite three-pointer.

I can see morning headlines lauding a Toon win and pictures of Bruscie stepping back from the noose, but in reality, my brain says this won't happen and Newcastle will come back to earth with a thump. Having let in 16 goals already, Son and Kane could have a field day!

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.

Well no-one got the first goal-scorer, it was a rare goal from Chelsea's Chilwell, and the 0-1 scoreline was bagged by just one player, @pthker2010 so a big-shout out to you mate, well done and you walk away with 10,000 tokens as the pot was double because of Scum losing. Sorry about Leeds not making it 20K!
