RE: # One step at a time, but always forward! - Splinter Stats Season 50 Report Card

awesome! i think i have broken about six contracts ever. and only when i wanted to combine bcx.

at a 1.3 win ratio there is definitely opportunity for more efficiency. e.g., if you focused only on two or three optimized silver-level splinters, you would stomp most silver players, and still be able to play about half your daily quests on average.

Thanks for your reply! And 6 only.. that's great to hear, I'm curious how the new rental system will influence the whole thing. There's definitely room for improvement. For example just being able to click on a completed contract to go to the specific card for renewal or a simple renewal or extending option. Hope something like that gets added.

Care to elaborate on that last bit? Was pretty happy to be well above 1 ratio. Am using 2-3 splinters mostly at the moment. Do you mean I should try and stay in silver to make the top ranking? An thus give up on some quest rewards but get good end of season returns? Am kind of in doubt on that. As right now making it to gold does increase per battle dec/daily quest/season rewards quite a bit. Making it in the ranking is not a given..

Any tips on what cards/decks to rent for doing that approach in silver are welcome, still learning every day :-)

put it this way - when i actually play the game, i don't bother playing very much until the competition thins out later in the season and my win ratio is about 2.0

leaderboards are a grind and out of reach since youre on a budget.

but for cost efficiency you could build 2 silver-league-optimized splinters for daily rewards, plus 1 mid-tier gold-league splinter to push you quickly into gold II towards the end of the season.

you could rent a GFL for a day to get the collection power you need and break the contract afterwards (cooldown doesn't matter, since the extra rewards should be worth more than the cost to rent the GFL. the cheapest i saw was 3c/day on a scale doctor). if you shop around, you'll see alot of people still dont put in escrow so its their loss

if you then rent a dragon summoner on the cheap, that gives you the ability to play 4/6 daily splinter-themed quests (plus snipe, sneak & no-neutrals) in silver I most of the time, then quickly push for gold II for season rewards

no particular card tips for silver since i dont play silver. but just remember gold promos have the same dec bonus as gold alphas. a lot of people seem to forget that.

Wow thanks, that helps a lot! Actually did something similar my first season but then liked renting so much for various reason I just went with longer contracts and cards I actually play often. Renting 50k power for 3 cent at end of season is a steal indeed.

Gonna play around with this
