Our generation has been exposed to false news - half truths. There is no climate emergency. Yes the climate is changing but it is natural and can be beneficial. Trees are still great for the well being of people around them. They provide shade, fruit, building material and fuel.
The Kyoto protocol would have given countries with trees carbon credits. I think this would have brought a reforestation in countries like India. China is going to do whatever it wants.
