"How long do we have to endure" kumi asked, almost moved to tears. Her mother,Boma not knowing what to say at this point could not but let go of the tears that had already welled up in her eyes.
She thought within herself what she would have to say to Kumi this time because it seems nothing could surpress the rage frustration triggered in her daughter

Kumi was tired of the frustration that she kept meeting at every point in her life. She was the only one in class who was sent out of school because her mom who played the role of a both a mom and a dad could not afford to pay her tuition fee. She also suffered from inferiority complex and low self esteem because to her she didn't have what it takes to level up with the few friends she had.
In fact it took grace for her to have the few she had but keeping up with them was really a lot.

They also struggled to have a decent 3 squad meal. It could be 1-0-1,meaning there will be food in the morning and evening but nil in the afternoon. Sometimes it's 1-0-0 and they had to manage all these.
Boma, is a peasant trader and she gets little or nothing form the petty things she sells. Life became really hard since she lost her husband.

Kumi on the other hand felt she was just too young for all she is going through and that prompted her to question her mum. Boma her mother has been telling her things were going to be better but to her it doesn't seems things are getting any better.

With tears in Boma's eyes she looked at her daughter Kumi and said to her, "it won't always be like this dear, brighter and better days are ahead". It was really an emotional moment for them as they both wept and hope for a miracle which they can't really tell where it will come from.
