Dcrops is one of the latest games created and developed on Hive's blockchain (May 2021).
Dcrops is a farming game that is simple to play and also requires little time to play.

Dcrops players play the role of agricultural entrepreneurs:

• buy land
• plant seeds in the land
• wait for the seeds to produce plants and agricultural products
• harvest and sell the resulting agricultural products.

Dcrops is not a free game and in order to play and produce agricultural products you need to buy two types of cards:

• the Land cards
• the Seed cards

Land and Seed cards are the NFT of the Dcrops game and can be of four different types:

• Common
• Rare
• Epic
• Legendary

Each Land card has a number of plots depending on the rarity type of the card.
A Legendary Land has 4 available plots where 4 seed cards can be used at the same time.
The number of available plots decreases by one as the rarity of the Land card decreases.

Seed cards have different characteristics:

• production time
• production quantity
• selling price (Shares points)
• special abilities (epic and legendary cards).

In the following image you can see all the Seed cards (Alpha edition) present in the game of Dcrops.

important note:

• Land cards can be used at all times (in all seasons of the game).
• Seed cards can only be used in a certain season of the game (every 15 days).

Tips for my friend @pousinha and for all new Dcrops players:

Before buying a Seed card from the Dcrops marketplace:

• make sure it is usable in the current season
• in case the season has already started a few days ago, make sure there is enough time for the seed card to produce its fruits before the end of the season.

Quests have arrived!

In the game of Dcrops the time is marked by seasons which have a duration of 15 days.
I started playing and investing in the game of Dcrops during the second season which ended shortly before mid-June 2021.
Since that day, new features were gradually introduced into the game.
At first, the only reward mechanism for Dcrops players was the Leaderboards which distributes rewards in terms of CROP tokens (the native tokens of the Dcrops game) every 15 days.
Later, the CROP POWER mechanism was introduced and a new leaderboard was introduced: Holding Rewards.
The Holding Rewards ranking distributes daily rewards in terms of HIVE tokens.

The big news that has been introduced with the just started season (winter) is the introduction of the third reward mechanism of the Dcrops game: Quests.

My Quests

To view the Quests you need to click on Quests and then click on "Create Quests" within the Play section of the Dcrops game.

In the following image are the Quests that I must complete if I want to receive chests that contain a total of 10 in-game rewards (NFT).

There are some quests that I can complete easily like the quest in the following image because I already have the seed cards I need and just need to plant them.

In fact, after planting two Cabbage seed cards...

To receive the chests I must complete all 10 quests and I have 15 days available.

If I can't complete a quest I can click on the "Reroll" button and request a new quest that costs 10 CROP tokens.

In this season I will try to complete all the quests that have been assigned to me and the topic of my next post on Dcrops will be just the evaluation of the quests and the convenience of completing them or not ...

My end of season report

In the game of Dcrops there are two reward mechanisms:

• Leaderboard
• Holding Rewards

The Leaderboard rewards players based on game activity.
There is a Reward Pool consisting of a certain amount of CROP tokens (the game's native tokens) that is divided among all players based on their seasonal farm production.

The Holding Rewards section is a leaderboard that rewards players based on the type and amount of game assets they own.

My Autumn Rewards

During the fall season, I used a total of 66 NFT:

• 18 LAND cards
  

• 48 SEED cards
  

I sold all of the farm produce I harvested during the fall season and got a total of 739 Shares points.
Thanks to the Shares points and my placement on the game's Leaderboard, I earned a reward of 650 CROP tokens.

Today October 11, 2021 the value of 1 CROP token is 0.00375 HIVE (Highest BID on Hive Engine: https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=CROP).

CROP tokens have gained value since the end of the previous season of Dcrops (0.00182 HIVE).

Based on the current value of the CROP tokens the value of my end of season reward is 2.4375 HIVE.

Thanks to the game assets I own I have a CROP POWER score of 41812 points.
The requirement to receive rewards from the Holding Rewards leaderboard is to exceed a CROP POWER score of 20000.
The rewards are daily and are in HIVE tokens.
I passed the CROP POWER score of 20000 points 16 days ago and so far I have received a total reward from the Holding Rewards leaderboard of 1,956 HIVE

My investment on Dcrops

To date, I have invested in the game of Dcrops 156.56 HIVE:

• 66.18 HIVE: for the purchase of 34 packs of alpha cards (14 opened and 20 to be opened)
• 90.388 HIVE for purchasing cards from the Market section of Dcrops.

If I only consider rewards earned in the season just ended (fall) my seasonal ROI is 2.80%.

A gain (ROI) of 2.806% in 15 days equates to an estimated annual gain of just over 67.35%.

The estimated ROI value I calculated above increased almost twice as much as the value I had calculated and recorded in my previous seasonal report: 36%.

Obviously the ROI I calculated above is an estimated value because it will vary based on:

• the future value of the CROP tokens
• the future value of HIVE tokens
• the amount of points Shares produced by me in a year compared to the amount of points Shares produced by other players / investors on Dcrops.
• to the future value of my CROP POWER score in relation to the CROP POWER score of the other players.

The break-even point

---

In all investments it is important to calculate the break-even point which is the point where the difference between the costs incurred and the revenues obtained is equal to 0.
In my strategy in Farming games like Dcrops, when calculating the break-even point I only consider as revenues the rewards obtained and not reinvested and I don't consider the value of the assets I own.
I do not consider the value of all the assets of the game because I want to have an additional margin of safety in relation to the risk factor that can have a farming game.
In this way when I reach the break-even point I will not have any risk associated with the investment and if I decide to leave the game, in all probability, I can make a nice profit even in the worst case.

Until now I have invested 157 HIVE in the game of Dcrops but I still have to invest because I have set an investment budget of 200 HIVE and then I could buy other assets of the game but I will not do it for the moment.
I've put in "stand by" all my investments in the blockchain based games I play because I'm saving to invest in the purchase of the card packs of the new Splinterlands collection.

With the rewards I've received in the last 15 days on Dcrops I've shortened the distance from the break-even point but I'm still far from reaching it.

On my in-game wallet I have a total of 1885 CROP tokens whose value is 7.06 HIVE.
If I add to this value the total amount of HIVE tokens that I received from Holding Rewards I get a total value of 9,016 HIVE (total rewards not reinvested in the game).

With an investment of 156.57 HIVE I still have to receive rewards worth 147.56 HIVE to reach the break-even point.

DCROPS: Sono arrivate le Quests + Il mio Report di fine stagione

Dcrops è uno degli ultimi giochi creati e sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive (maggio 2021).
Dcrops è un gioco di farming semplice da giocare ed è anche un gioco che richiede poco tempo da dedicare.

I giocatori di Dcrops rivestono il ruolo di imprenditori agricoli:

• comprano terreni
• piantano semi nei terreni
• aspettano che i semi producano piante e prodotti agricoli
• effettuano il raccolto e vendono i prodotti agricoli ottenuti dal raccolto.

Dcrops non è un gioco gratuito e per giocare e produrre i prodotti agricoli è necessario acquistare due tipologie di carte:

• le carte Land
• le carte Seed

Le carte Land e le carte Seed sono gli NFT del gioco di Dcrops e possono essere di quattro tipologie diverse:

• Comune
• Rara
• Epica
• Leggendaria

Ogni carta Land ha un numero di terreni che dipende dal tipo di rarità della carta.
Una Land leggendaria ha 4 terreni disponibili nei quali possono essere utilizzate 4 carte seme contemporaneamente.
Il numero di terreni disponibili diminuisce di una unità man mano che diminuisce la rarità della carta Land.

Le carte Seed hanno caratteristiche diverse:

• tempo di produzione
• quantità di produzione
• prezzo di vendita (punti Shares)
• abilità speciali (carte epiche e leggendarie).

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutte le carte Seed (edizione Alpha) presenti nel gioco di Dcrops.

Nota importante:

• Le carte Land possono essere utilizzate sempre (in tutte le stagioni del gioco)
• Le carte Seed possono essere utilizzate solo in una determinata stagione del gioco (ogni 15 giorni).

Consigli per la mia amica @pousinha e per tutti i nuovi giocatori di Dcrops:

Prima di comprare una carta Seed dal mercato di Dcrops:

• assicuratevi che sia utilizzabile nella stagione in corso
• nel caso in cui la stagione è già iniziata da qualche giorno, assicuratevi che ci sia il tempo sufficiente affinchè la carta seme produca i suoi frutti prima della fine della stagione.

Sono arrivate le Quests

Nel gioco di Dcrops il tempo è scandito dalle stagioni che hanno una durata di 15 giorni.
Io ho iniziato a giocare ed a investire nel gioco di Dcrops durante la seconda stagione che è terminata poco prima di metà giugno 2021.

Da quel giorno sono state introdotte gradualmente nuove funzionalità.
All'inizio l'unico meccanismo di ricompensa per i giocatori di di Dcrops era la Leaderboards che distribuisce premi in termini di token CROP (i token nativi del gioco di Dcrops) ogni 15 giorni.
Poi è stato introdotto il meccanismo del CROP POWER ed è stata introdotta una nuova classifica: Holding Rewards.
La classifica Holding Rewards distribuisce premi giornalieri in termini di token HIVE.

La grande novità che è stata introdotta con la stagione appena iniziata (inverno) è l'introduzione del terzo meccanismo di ricompensa del gioco di Dcrops: le Quests.

Le Quests

Per visualizzare le Quests è necessario cliccare su Quests e poi cliccare su "Create Quests" all'interno della sezione Play del gioco di Dcrops.

Nell'immagine seguente ci sono le Quests che devo completare se voglio ricevere dei forzieri che contengono in totale 10 ricompense di gioco (NFT).

Ci sono alcune Quest che posso completare facilmente come la quest nell'immagine seguente perchè ho già le carte seme necessarie e devo solo piantarle.

Infatti dopo aver piantato due carte seme Cabbage...

...ho completato la mia prima quest

Per ricevere i forzieri devo completare tutte e 10 le quests e ho 15 giorni disponibili.

Se non riesco a completare una quest posso cliccare sul bottone "Reroll" e richiedere una nuova quest che però ha un costo di 10 token CROP.

In questa stagione proverò a completare tutte le quests che mi sono state assegnate e l'argomento del mio prossimo post su Dcrops sarà proprio la valutazione delle quests e la convenienza nel completarle o meno...

Il mio report di fine stagione

Nel gioco di Dcrops ci sono due meccanismi di ricompense:

• Leaderboard
• Holding Rewards

La Leaderboard premia i giocatori in base all'attività di gioco.
C'è una Reward Pool costituita da un certo quantitativo di token CROP (i token nativi del gioco) che viene divisa tra tutti i giocatori in base alla loro produzione agricola stagionale.

La sezione Holding Rewards è una classifica che premia i giocatori in base al tipo e alla quantità di assets del gioco che possiedono.

Le Mie Ricompense Estive

Durante la stagione autunnale ho utilizzato un totale di 66 NFT:

• 18 carte LAND
  

• 48 carte SEED
  

Ho venduto tutti i prodotti agricoli che ho raccolto durante la stagione autunnale e ho ottenuto un totale di 739 punti Shares.
Grazie ai punti Shares e al mio posizionamento nella Leaderboard del gioco ho ottenuto una ricompensa di 650 token CROP.

Oggi 11 ottobre 2021 il valore di 1 token CROP è di 0.00375 HIVE (Highest BID su Hive Engine: https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=CROP).

I token CROP hanno acquistato valore rispetto alla fine della stagione precedente di Dcrops (0.00182 HIVE).

In base al valore attuale dei token CROP il valore della mia ricompensa di fine stagione è di 2.4375 HIVE.

Grazie agli assets di gioco che possiedo ho un punteggio CROP POWER di 41812 punti.
Il requisito per ricevere le ricompense dalla classifica Holding Rewards è superare un punteggio CROP POWER di 20000.
Le ricompense sono giornaliere e sono in token HIVE.
Ho superato il punteggio CROP POWER di 20000 punti 16 giorni fa e fino ad ora ho ricevuto una ricompensa totale dalla classifica Holding Rewards di 1.956 HIVE

Il mio investimento su Dcrops

Fino ad oggi ho investito nel gioco di Dcrops 156.56 HIVE:

• 66.18 HIVE: per l'acquisto di 34 pacchi di carte alpha (14 aperti e 20 da aprire)
• 90.388 HIVE per l'acquisto di carte dalla sezione Market di Dcrops.

Se considero solo le ricompense ottenute nella stagione appena conclusa (autunno) il mio ROI stagionale è del 2.80%.

Un guadagno (ROI) del 2.806% in 15 giorni equivale ad un guadagno annuale stimato di poco superiore al 67.35%.

Il valore del ROI stimato che ho calcolato sopra è aumentato quasi del doppio rispetto al valore che avevo calcolato e registrato nel mio report stagionale precedente: 36%.

Ovviamente il ROI che ho calcolato sopra è un valore stimato perchè varierà in base:

• al valore futuro dei token CROP
• al valore futuro dei token HIVE
• al quantitativo dei punti Shares prodotti da me in un anno rapportato al quantitativo dei punti Shares prodotti dagli altri giocatori/investitori su Dcrops.
• al valore futuro del mio punteggio CROP POWER in rapporto al punteggio CROP POWER degli altri giocatori.

Il punto di pareggio

---

In tutti gli investimenti è importante calcolare il punto di pareggio che è il punto in cui la differenza tra i costi sostenuti e i ricavi ottenuti è uguale a 0.
Nella mia strategia nei giochi di Farming come Dcrops, nel calcolo del punto di pareggio considero solo come ricavi le ricompense ottenute e non reinvestite e non considero il valore degli assets in mio possesso.
Non considero il valore di tutti gli assets del gioco perchè voglio avere un ulteriore margine di sucurezza in relazione al fattore di rischio che può avere un gioco di farming.
In questo modo quando avrò raggiunto il punto di pareggio non avrò nessun rishio associato all'investimento e se deciderò di abbandonare il gioco, con molta probabilità, potrò fare un bel profitto anche nella peggiore delle ipotesi.

Fino ad ora ho investito 157 HIVE nel gioco di Dcrops ma ho ancora da investire perchè ho fissato un budget di investimento di 200 HIVE e quindi potrei comprare altri assets del gioco ma non lo farò per il momento.
Ho messo in "stand by" tutti i miei investimenti nei giochi basati su blockchain a cui gioco perchè sto risparmiando per investire nell'acquisto dei pacchi di carte della nuova collezione di Splinterlands.

Con le ricompense che ho ricevuto negli ultimi 15 giorni su Dcrops ho accorciato le distanze dal punto di pareggio ma sono ancora lontano dal raggiungerlo.

Sul mio wallet interno al gioco ho un totale di 1885 token CROP il cui valore è di 7.06 HIVE.
Se a questo valore aggiungo il totale dei token HIVE che ho ricevuto dalla classifica Holding Rewards ottengo un valore totale di 9.016 HIVE (totale ricompense non reinvestite nel gioco).

A fronte di un investimento di 156.57 HIVE devo ricevere ancora ricompense per un valore di 147.56 HIVE per raggiungere il punto di pareggio.
