Farming Tales News, Considerations on the Value of WAX, SEST and CBIT tokens + OneUp Cartel's Investment: Report No.17
It has been 14 days since I have published a post on Farming Tales and last week I missed my now usual weekly appointment due to work and family commitments.
Although I have not published posts recently my gaming activity has continued as usual and I have been occupied of my farm and the Cartel project farm of which I am the operator.
Today I resume sharing on my Hive blog about my gaming activity on Farming Tales, the news and updates that have happened in the last 14 days, the trend in the value of the tokens linked to the game and the seventeenth financial report related to the investment made by Cartel.
Before covering the main topics I begin with a short introduction about the Farming Tales game for those of my readers who are new to the game.
What is Farming Tales?
(Brief Introduction)
Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming simulator built and developed on the WAX blockchain.
I decided to start playing and investing in Farming Tales because I saw peculiarities in this game that many other blockchain-based farming games don't have:
- Farming Tales has beautiful graphics and uses a 3D graphics engine.
- Farming Tales has some NFT that are linked to real goods from real farms (saffron, honey,...).
Another point in favor of Farming Tales over other farming games is that it chose my beloved Hive to:

In addition, Farming Tales' roadmap also includes a future goal to integrate on Hive blockchain (Q3 - 2022).
Farming Tales News
May 26-June 9, 2022
The reference point for staying up-to-date on the news and development progress made by the Farming Tales team is the Announcements channel on the Farming Tales discord server: https://discord.gg/4U6Hum3CFd.
I will now show you what happened on Farming Tales in the period between May 26 and today, June 9, following a chronological order.
On May 27, 2022 the Foraging Bees sale began on NeftyBlocks: https://neftyblocks.com/c/farmingtales/drops/118869
The Foraging Bees are NFTs representing real bees of the real farm of Farming Tales.
In fact Farming Tales is not only a blockchain-based game where everything is virtual but it also has a real part and it is possible to buy NFTs that represent real goods from real farms such as NFT Foragin Bees.
In fact each NFT Foragin Bee can be used to receive 1Kg of organic honey.
In the following image you can see the announcement of the sale of Foragin Bees and the explanation of their use.
So far 66 NFT Foraging Bees have been sold and there are still 134 NFTs available for purchase at a price of 81.23 WAX = $10.
On May 28, 2022 the auction sale of the ninth building in New Waxchester ended: the Fish Market.
The final purchase price was 1720000 SEST tokens and it was the Wacha player who purchased the NFT Fish Market property.
Based on the current values of the SEST tokens, buying the NFT Fish Market was costing 5914 WAX = $718.42.
On May 31, 2022 the first Monthly Crafting Event ended and in the image below you can see the list of winners and the prizes they received.
On June 6, 2022 the sale of the Hemp Tool Boxes began on Neftyblocks: https://neftyblocks.com/c/farmingtales/drops/120189%2B120190
The Hemp Tools Boxes are of two types and each type contains a number of NFT Hemp Tools which in turn can be of 10 different types.
The NFT Rookie Grower Tool Boxes contain 5 Hemp Tools.
The NFT Expert Grower Tool Boxes contain 10 Hemp Tools.
The NFT Expert Grower Tool Boxes have all been sold while there are still 123 NFT Rookie Grower Tool Boxes available for purchase.
As you can see from the following infographic whoever collects all 10 NFT Hemp Tools can do the Blending operation and get an NFT Hemp Field which will have a utility within the game and will produce virtual hemp that can be sold in exchange for SEST tokens.
Those who have a Hemp Field NFT and will purchase a Hemp NFT during one of the future Auctions Events will be able to combine the two NFTs to get a HempLand which will be an NFT that will produce real hemp every year.

WAX, SEST and CBIT Market Value Considerations
In blockchain-based farming games, it is always important to do the proper calculations before purchasing tokens and NFTs, and it is also important to monitor the value of the tokens linked to the game.
In the image below you can see the current value of the blockchain token on which Farming Tales runs (WAX) and the current value of the Farming Tales tokens (SEST and CBIT) and the difference in value compared to the dollar and compared to the various tokens recorded in the time interval May 26, 2022 - June 9, 2022.
Compared to 14 days ago, WAX tokens and CBIT tokens have increased their value in dollar terms while SEST tokens have lost value:
- WAX: +3.49%
- SEST: -15.10%%
- CBIT: +22.98%
The information in the above table and the value comparison between the various tokens can be useful for doing trading and conversion operations between the various tokens ;)
Cartel Investment Update: Report #17
My gaming/investment activity on Farming Tales is double because I play two roles:
- I am a simple player who has decided to invest in the purchase of NFT and tokens
- I am a operator of the Cartel project of the beautiful community called OneUp.
Cartel is:
- a Meta Gaming Guild
- a Meta Curation
- a Meta Dividend Token
I have been managing OneUp Cartel's investment in Farming Tales since January 29, 2022, and today, June 8, 2022, 131 days have passed.
OneUp Cartel invested in the Farming Tales project in two successive times:
- First investment: 500 HBD (January 29, 2022)
- Second investment: 250 WAX (March 1, 2022)
From the conversion of HBD tokens to WAX tokens, I obtained 1583 WAX tokens, which when added to the second investment of 250 WAX produced a total of 1833 WAX tokens.
1833 WAX tokens is therefore the total amount of tokens I had available to invest in Farming Tales.
I used the 1833 WAX tokens in the following ways:
- Purchase of NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Purchase of WAX Resources (CPU,RAM,NET): 51.54 WAX
- Purchase of 14970 SEST tokens: 195.00 WAX
- Cost of trading on Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX
VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS
The value of the NFT collection of the Cartel project
In the table below you can see the list of NFTs owned by OneUp Cartel with an indication:
- of the purchase prices
- of the payment method used to purchase them
- of the current market prices on AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
- of the difference between purchase price and current market value for each NFT purchased.
To calculate the value of the card collection I consider the lowest market sale value at the time I write my report and for this reason it is to be considered an estimated value.
Also this week the value of the difference between the total purchase cost (in WAX) and the total market value of the NFT collection is negative with a slightly worse result: -28.14$ -227.70 WAX -14.69% (previous report: -7.46$ -62.48 WAX -4.03%)
The value of CBIT and SEST tokens accumulated and not reinvested
Profit and ROI
In the following image you can see the prospectus I created to concisely and immediately monitor the investment on Farming Tales that I manage for the Cartel project.
In the prospectus the total initial investment cost is the total amount of WAX tokens I had available to invest: 1833 WAX.
Considering the investment in terms of WAX tokens, the financial results (Profit and ROI) are positive although less positive than my previous report (14 days ago):
Profit: +62.36 WAX = +7.71$ (Profit previous report: +185.73 WAX = +22.18$**)
ROI: +3.40% (ROI previous report: +10.13%)
I invested a total of 1833 WAX tokens to get a total investment value (Assets + Rewards) of 1895.37: +62.36 WAX.
On the other hand, if I take as starting point the dollar value of the initial investment the results are not positive but negative.
In the following image you can see the prospectus I created to track two financial results that take into account:
- the value of the 500 HBD and 250 WAX at the time of their use
- the current value of Cartel's investment in WAX tokens and in dollars.
The data in the above prospectus are important because they permit to calculate the value that the WAX token will have to reach the breakeven point.
This value could gain importance in the future event that Cartel wants to exit the investment or decrease the capital exposure on Farming Tales.
Based on the financial results I recorded today, the breakeven point is achievable with a WAX token value equal to $0.2570
All values above $0.2570 for WAX tokens would lead to a profit, and in the following image you can see the financial results achievable in the case of a future WAX token value equal to 0.30$ (first table) and 0.40$ (second table)
My investment plan on Farming Tales (Update)
My current strategy and one that I will follow in the coming days is to increase the amount of liquid WAX tokens within the wallet of 1carteltales.
There are signs of recovery for many blockchain projects but the current market is still in a Bear Market phase.
Among the WAX tokens, SEST and CBIT are the WAX tokens that I think are most likely to increase in value in the future and for this reason right now I placed a sale order of 200 CBIT tokens to get 25.78 WAX tokens in exchange.
Having an increasing amount of liquid WAX tokens will be useful:
- to make very advantageous purchases if the opportunity arises
- to have the ability to decrease exposure in case WAX tokens return to the values they had a short time ago and before the collapse of the value of TERRA blockchain tokens that started the current Bear Market.

Le Novità su Farming Tales, Considerazioni sul Valore dei token WAX, SEST e CBIT + l'Investimento di OneUp Cartel: Report N.17
Sono 14 giorni che non pubblico un post su Farming Tales e la scorsa settimana ho saltato il mio ormai usuale appuntamento settimanale a causa di impegni lavorativi e familiari.
Anche se non ho pubblicato post di recente la mia attività di gioco è continuata come sempre e mi sono occupato della mia fattoria e della fattoria del progetto Cartel della quale sono il gestore.
Oggi riprendo a condividere sul mio Hive blog la mia attività di gioco su Farming Tales, le novità e gli aggiornamenti avvenuti negli ultimi 14 giorni, l'andamento del valore dei token collegati al gioco e il diciassettesimo report finanziario relativo all'investimento effettuato da Cartel.

Cos'è Farming Tales?
(Breve Introduzione)
Farming Tales è un simulatore di farming basato su NFT costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain WAX.
Ho deciso di iniziare a giocare e ad investire su Farming Tales perchè ho visto delle particolarità in questo gioco che molti altri giochi di farming basati su blockchain non hanno:
- Farming Tales ha una bella grafica e utilizza un motore grafico 3D
- Farming Tales ha alcuni NFT che sono collegati a beni reali di reali fattorie (zafferano, miele,...).
Un'altro punto a favore di Farming Tales rispetto ad altri giochi di farming è che ha scelto la mia amata Hive per:
- pubblicare aggiornamenti relativi al gioco (account: @farmingtales).

Inoltre il team di sviluppo di Farming Tales ha tra i suoi obiettivi futuri anche quello di integrarsi sulla blockchain di Hive (Q3 - 2022).

26 maggio - 9 giugno 2022
Il punto di riferimento per rimanere sempre aggiornati sulle novità e i progressi di sviluppo effettuati dal team di Farming Tales è il canale Annuncements sul server discord di Farming Tales: https://discord.gg/4U6Hum3CFd.
Vediamo adesso cosa è successo su Farming Tales nel periodo tra il 26 maggio e oggi 9 giugno seguendo un ordine cronologico.
Il 27 maggio 2022 è iniziata la vendita dei Foraging Bees su NeftyBlocks: https://neftyblocks.com/c/farmingtales/drops/118869
I Foragin Bees sono degli NFT che rappresentano api reali della fattoria reale di Farming Tales.
Infatti Farming Tales non è solo un gioco basato su blockchain in cui tutto è virtuale ma ha anche una parte reale ed è possibile acquistare NFT che rappresentano beni reali di reali fattorie come gli NFT Foragin Bees.
Infatti ogni NFT Foragin Bee può essere utilizzato per ricevere 1Kg di miele organico.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere l'annuncio della vendita delle Foragin Bees e la spiegazione del loro utilizzo.
Fino ad ora sono state vendute 66 NFT Foraging Bee e ci sono ancora 134 NFT acquistabili al prezzo di 81.23 WAX = 10$.
Il 28 maggio 2022 è terminata la vendita all'asta del nono edificio della New Waxchester: il Fish Market.
Il prezzo di acquisto finale è stato di 1720000 token SEST e ad aggiudicarsi l'NFT Fish Market è stato il giocatore Wacha.
In base ai valori attuali dei token SEST l'NFT Fish Market è costato 5914 WAX = 718.42$.

Gli Hemp Tools Box sono di due tipi e contengono gli NFT Hemp Tool che possono essere di 10 tipi diversi.
Gli NFT Rookie Grower Tool Box contengono 5 Hemp Tool.
Gli NFT Expert Grower Tool Box contengono 10 Hemp Tool.
Gli NFT Expert Grower Tool Box sono stati tutti venduti mentre ci sono ancora 123 NFT Rookie Grower Tool Box acquistabili.
Come puoi vedere dalla seguente infografica chi colleziona tutti e 10 gli NFT Hemp Tool può fare l'operazione di Blending e ottenere un NFT Hemp Field che avrà un'utilità all'interno del gioco e produrrà hemp virtuali che sarà possibile vendere in cambio di token SEST.
Chi ha un NFT Hemp Field e acquisterà un NFT Hemp durante uno dei futuri Auctions Events potrà combinare i due NFT per ottenere una HempLand che sarà un NFT che produrrà hemp reali ogni anno.

WAX, SEST and CBIT Market Value Considerations
Nei giochi di farming basati su blockchain è sempre importante fare i dovuti calcoli prima di effettuare l'acquisto di token e NFT ed è anche importante monitorare il valore dei token collegati al gioco.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il valore attuale del token della blockchain su cui funziona Farming Tales (WAX) e il valore attuale dei token di Farming Tales (SEST e CBIT) e la differenza di valore rispetto al dollaro e rispetto ai vari token registrata nell'intervallo di tempo 26 maggio 2022 - 9 giugno 2022.
Rispetto a 14 giorni fa i token WAX e i token CBIT hanno aumentato il loro valore in termini di dollari mentre i token SEST hanno perso valore:
- WAX: +3.49%
- SEST: -15.10%%
- CBIT: +22.98%
Le informazioni presenti nella tabella precedente e il confronto di valore tra i vari token possono essere utili per fare operazioni di trading e operazioni di conversione tra i vari token ;)
Cartel Investment Update: Report #17
La mia attività di gioco/investimento su Farming Tales è duplice perchè svolgo due ruoli:
- sono un semplice giocatore che ha deciso di investire nell'acquisto di NFT e tokens
- sono un operatore del progetto Cartel della bellissima comunità della blockchain di Hive che si chiama OneUp.
OneUp Cartel è un progetto della comunità di OneUp ed è:
- una Meta Gaming Guild
- una Meta Curation
- un Meta Dividend Token
Gestisco l'investimento di OneUp Cartel su Farming Tales dal 29 gennaio 2022 e oggi 26 maggio 2022 sono passati 131 giorni.
OneUp Cartel ha investito nel progetto di Farming Tales in due momenti successivi:
- Primo investimento: 500 HBD (29 gennaio 2022)
- Secondo investimento: 250 WAX (1 marzo 2022)
Dalla conversione dei token HBD in token WAX ho ottenuto 1583 token WAX che sommati al secondo investimento di 250 WAX hanno prodotto un totale di 1833 token WAX.
1833 token WAX è quindi il toltale di token che ho avuto a disposizione per investire su Farming Tales.
Ho utilizzato i 1833 token WAX nel seguente modo:
- Acquisto di NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Acquisto di Risorse WAX (CPU): 51.54 WAX
- Acquisto di 14970 token SEST: 195.00 WAX
- Costi per operazioni di trading su Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX
VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS
Il valore della collezione di NFT del progetto Cartel
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere l'elenco degli NFT di proprietà di Cartel con l'indicazione:
- dei prezzi di acquisto
- del metodo di pagamento utilizzato per acquistarli
- dei prezzi di mercato attuali su AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
- della differenza tra prezzo di acquisto e valore attuale di mercato per ogni NFT acquistato.
Per calcolare il valore della collezione di carte considero il valore di vendita sul mercato più basso nel momento in cui scrivo il mio report e per questo motivo è da considerare questo valore un valore stimato.
Anche questa settimana il valore della differenza tra il costo totale di acquisto (in WAX) e il valore di mercato totale della collezione di NFT è negativo con un risultato leggermente peggiore: -28.14$ -227.70 WAX -14.69% (report precedente: -7.46$ -62.48 WAX -4.03%)
Il valore dei token CBIT e SEST accumulati e non reinvestiti
Profit e ROI
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il prospetto che ho creato per monitorare in modo sintetico e immediato l'investimento su Farming Tales che gestisto per il progetto Cartel.
Nel prospetto il totale dei costi di investimento iniziale è il quantitativo totale di token WAX che ho avuto a disposizione da investire: 1833 WAX.
Considerando l'investimento in termini di WAX token i risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) sono positivi anche se meno positivi rispetto al mio precedente report (14 giorni fa):
Profit: +62.36 WAX = +7.71$ (Profit report precedente: +185.73 WAX = +22.18$**)
ROI: +3.40% (ROI report precedente: +10.13%)
Ho investito un totale di 1833 token WAX per ottenere un valore totale dell'investimento (Assets + Rewards) di 2018.73 WAX: +174.56 WAX.
Se invece prendo come punto di partenza il valore in dollari dell'investimento iniziale i risultati non sono positivi ma negativi.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il prospetto che ho creato per tenere traccia di due risultati finanziari che tengono conto:
- del valore dei 500 HBD e dei 250 WAX (investimenti iniziali) al momento del loro utilizzo
- il valore attuale dell'investimento di Cartel in token WAX e in dollari.
I dati nel prospetto precedente sono importanti perchè permettono di calcolare il valore che dovrà avere il token WAX per raggiungere il punto di pareggio.
Questo valore acquista importanza nel caso futuro in cui Cartel volesse uscire dall'investimento o diminuire l'esposizione di capitale su Farming Tales.
In base ai risultati finanziari che ho registrato oggi, il punto di pareggio è raggiungibile con un valore del token WAX uguale a 0.2570$
Tutti i valori superiori a 0.2570$ per i token WAX porterebbero ad un profitto e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i risultati finanziari ottenibili nel caso di un valore futuro dei token WAX uguale a 0.30$ (prima tabella) e 0.40$ (seconda tabella)
Il mio piano di investimento su Farming Tales (Update)
La mia strategia attuale e che seguirò nei prossimi giorni è di aumentare il quantitativo di token WAX liquidi all'interno del wallet di 1carteltales.
Ci sono segnali di ripresa per tanti progetti blockchain ma il mercato attuale è ancora in una fase di Bear Market.
Tra i token WAX, SEST e CBIT sono i token WAX che secondo me hanno più probabilità di aumentare il loro valore in futuro e per questo motivo proprio adesso ho piazzato un ordine di vendita di 200 token CBIT per ottenere in cambio 25.78 token WAX.
Avere un quantitativo sempre maggiore di token WAX liquidi sarà utile:
- per effettuare acquisti molto vantaggiosi se si presenterà l'occasione
- per avere la possibilità di diminuire l'esposizione nel caso i token WAX ritornino ai valori che avevano poco tempo fa e prima del crollo della blockchain TERRA che ha dato il via all'attuale Bear Market.

It's still nice to see you positive in WAX value and I still think WAX is a great chain for NFTs. So I do think it will go back in price because I have a feeling that prices will go up if there is a ton of traffic added.
