Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain-based game, and it's also one of the few games in the entire blockchain-based gaming landscape that **offers so many different earning possibilities to its players.
Those who play and win in-game battles (Bronze II+ Leagues) earn token DECs which in turn allow them to earn token Splintershards (SPS) thanks to the ongoing airdrop: 1 DEC token = 1 SPS airdrop point.
Whoever stacks SPS tokens receives VOUCHER tokens every day, which can be used to buy Chaos Legion card packs or can be transferred or sold.
Those who play, win battles and complete daily quests receive chests inside of which there may be:

• credits, cards and potions (Silver Leagues III-)
• cards, DEC tokens and potions (Silver III+ Leagues).

Most blockchain-based games have in-game rewards and additional rewards associated with staking tokens related to the game.

Splinterlands has something extra because it's a game built and developed on Hive's blockchain.

What other games don't have is Hive which guarantees:

• speed (3 second block speeds).
• transaction cost = 0

The added value of Splinterlands is Hive and the added value of Hive is Splinterlands

Thanks to Hive Splinterlands can offer its players not only in-game rewards but also rewards related to the activity of publishing content on the Hive blockchain.
For example there are the contests organized weekly by Splinterlands that allow:

• players to receive up to two upvotes in 7 days from Splinterlands for their activity of publishing Splinterlands-related content on the Hive blockchain and sharing content on platforms other than Hive
• to Splinterlands to support their players in a different way while getting publicity and promotion outside of Hive.

My post got a total payout of $139.57 (more precisely 139.57 $HTU)
The author of a post on the Hive blockchain receives 50% of the post's payout, so I received: 34,941 HBD + 22,097 HP

Since I used among the 10 available tags also the splinterlands tag, my post received also a reward in SPT tokens: 472.800480 SPT = 1.57 HIVE = 2.13$.

Thanks to Splinterlands who created the SPT tokens I earned an additional reward to the HBD and HP tokens.

There are also other communities on Hive focused on content inherent to blockchain-based games.
One of my favorite communities is the 1UP community that was created recently by @flauwy but already has many registered users and above all has a great level of interaction between its users.

The 1UP community is focused on all blockchain-based games and NFT assets.

Today, December 15, 2021 one ONEUP token has a value of:
0.02151 SWAP.HIVE = $0.029 (Highest BID).
0.02690 SWAP.HIVE = $0.036 (Lowest Ask)
100 tokens ONEUP = 2.9$.

So my post on Splinterlands with the use of only one tag earned:

• 34,941 HBD = $33.85
• 22,097 HP = $30.05
• 472.80 SPT = $2.13
• 348.58 ONEUP = $10.10

The total value of my rewards is 76.13$

With these calculations I wanted to show the "extra gear" that a game built on the Hive blockchain has, which always offers an extra possibility of earning and interaction compared to games built on other blockchains.

SPT token value considerations

The last time I checked the value of SPT tokens was October 20, 2021.
On October 20, 2021 1 SPT token was worth 0.01015 SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid) token = $0.00770.
Today 15 December 2021 1 token SPT is worth 0.00282 token SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid) = 0.00380$.

In a time interval of almost two months the SPT token has lost a lot of value but if we take a much larger time interval (January 7, 2020 - December 15, 2021) the increase in value is still remarkable: +281.08% (HIVE) and +450.72% ($).

This drop in value doesn't bother me and I continue to accumulate SPT tokens because I have a goal to reach.

My way to 1 million SPT tokens

I earned my first SPT tokens on October 25, 2019 and to date I have never sold a single SPT token because I have a goal to reach:

1 million SPT tokens

In order to more easily reach my goal I needed to optimally manage my voting power related to SPT tokens (SPT Power) and for this reason on November 26, 2019 I created a curation account: @libertygame27.
With my main account I follow many authors who post very different topics and consequently also use different tags.
My secondary account @libertygame27 allows me to optimize the accumulation of SPT tokens and most importantly it allows me not to waste my SPT POWER because I only use libertygame27 to vote for posts that have the splinterlands tag and/or the spt tag.

The last time I checked the amount of SPT tokens in the libertygame27 wallet was on October 20, 2021.
On October 20, 2021, I had accumulated a total of 621717 SPT tokens (sum of tokens received in delegation from my main account + tokens put in stake from my curation account).

Today, December 15, the total number of staked SPT tokens (SPT Power) that libertygame27 has available is 702540 units (image below).

54 days have passed from October 20 to December 15.
In 54 days I have increased the amount of SPT tokens in my possession by 80823 units (+13%)

Over 54 days, the average daily increase was 1443 SPT tokens per day.
Despite the recent drop in the value of SPT tokens I earned a value of 4.06 HIVE per day = $5.52 per day.

Reaching 1 million SPT tokens is a goal that is still a long way off but I am getting closer and am happy to be 70% of the way there.

The total value of SPT tokens in my possession is 1981.16 HIVE = $2694.37.

SPT Richlist

In the following image is the SPT Richlist sorted by total SPT tokens (liquid+staked+delegation in).

54 days ago I was at position number 23 on the Rich List.
In 54 days I have recovered 6 positions and today I am at place number 17 on the Rich List.
Fortunately I'm not superstitious otherwise I would have had to worry :)

One of the most fun aspects of Hive is the "gamification" of account progress.
That's why I had fun to create a chart that shows the progress in ranking of the various accounts that have SPT tokens in their wallet in the time interval October 20, 2021 - December 15, 2021.

At the top of this list is always the account @monster-curator which is also the account that often votes on my posts and so I take this opportunity to thank him.
Monster-curator has a total of 27941958 SPT tokens of which 26792750 have been received by delegation.

In second place is @kikero who has a total of 3229962 SPT tokens of which 1 million are stacked.

In third place goes up one position the account @inertia who has 2310712 SPT tokens

In fourth place is @michealb who has lost one position since 54 days ago and who has 2058263 SPT tokens.

It is interesting to note who occupies the fifth position: @null

This means that the amount of SPT tokens burned have increased compared to 54 days ago.
The account @null was in 20th position 54 days ago with a total of 689028 SPT tokens, today his total SPT token count is 1740864.

Considerazioni sul valore dei token SPT

L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore dei token SPT era il 20 ottobre 2021.
Il 20 ottobre 2021 1 token SPT valeva 0.01015 token SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid) = 0.00770$
Oggi 15 dicembre 2021 1 token SPT vale 0.00282 token SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid) = 0.00380$

In un intervallo di tempo di quasi due mesi il token SPT ha perso molto valore ma se prendiamo un intervallo temporale molto più ampio (7 gennaio 2020 - 15 dicembre 2021) l'incremento di valore è ancora notevole: +281.08% (HIVE) e +450.72% ($).

Questo calo di valore non mi preoccupa e continuo ad accumulare i token SPT perchè ho un obiettivo da raggiungere.

La mia strada verso 1 milione di token SPT

I miei primi token SPT li ho guadagnati il 25 ottobre 2019 e fino ad oggi non ho mai venduto un singolo token SPT perchè ho un obiettivo preciso da raggiungere:

1 milione di token SPT

Per raggiungere più facilmente il mio obbiettivo dovevo gestire in modo ottimale il mio potere di voto relativo ai token SPT (SPT Power) e per questo motivo il 26 novembre 2019 ho creato un curation account: @libertygame27.
Con il mio account principale seguo molti autori che pubblicano argomenti molto diversi tra loro e di conseguenza utilizzano anche tag diversi.
Il mio account secondario @libertygame27 mi permette di ottimizzare l'accumulo dei token SPT e soprattutto mi permette di non sprecare il mio SPT POWER perchè utilizzo libertygame27 solo per votare i post che hanno il tag splinterlands e/o il tag spt.

L'ultima volta che ho controllato il quantitativo di token SPT presente nel wallet di libertygame27 è stato il giorno 20 ottobre 2021.
Il 20 ottobre 2021 avevo accumulato un totale di 621717 token SPT (somma dei token ricevuti in delega dal mio account principale + i token messi in stake dal mio curation account).

Oggi 15 dicembre il totale dei token SPT staked (SPT Power) che libertygame27 ha a disposizione è di 702540 unità (immagine seguente).

Dal 20 ottobre ad oggi 15 dicembre sono trascorsi 54 giorni.
In 54 giorni ho incrementato il quantitativo di token SPT in mio possesso di 80823 unità (+13%)

In 54 giorni l'incremento medio giornaliero è stato di 1443 token SPT al giorno.
Nonostante il recente calo di valore dei token SPT ho guadagnato un valore di 4.06 HIVE al giorno = 5.52$ al giorno.

Raggiungere il milione di token SPT è un obbiettivo che è ancora lontano ma mi sto avvicinando e sono felice di aver superato il 70% del mio percorso.

Il valore totale dei token SPT in mio possesso è di 1981.16 HIVE = 2694.37$.

SPT Richlist

Nell'immagine seguente c'è la SPT Richlist ordinata in base al totale di token SPT (liquidi+staked+delegation in).

54 giorni fa ero al posto numero 23 della Rich List.
In 54 giorni ho recuperato 6 posizioni e oggi sono al posto numero 17 della Rich List.
Fortunatamente non sono superstizioso altrimenti avrei dovuto preoccuparmi :)

Uno degli aspetti più divertenti di Hive è la "gamification" dei progressi degli account.
Per questo motivo mi sono divertito a creare un grafico che mostra l'andamento in classifica dei vari account che hanno token SPT nel loro wallet nell'intervallo temporale: 20 ottobre 2021 - 15 dicembre 2021.

Al primo posto di questa lista c'è sempre l'account @monster-curator che è anche l'account che spesso vota i miei post e quindi colgo l'occasione per ringraziarlo.
Monster-curator ha un totale di 27941958 token SPT di cui 26792750 ricevuti in delega.

Al secondo posto si riconferma @kikero che ha un totale di 3229962 token SPT di cui 1 milione stacked.

Al terzo posto sale di una posizione l'account @inertia che ha 2310712 token SPT

Al quarto posto c'è @michealb che perde una posizione rispetto a 54 giorni fa e che ha 2058263 token SPT.

E' interessante notare chi occupa la quinta posizione: @null

Questo vuol dire che il quantitativo di token SPT bruciati sono aumentati rispetto a 54 giorni fa.
L'account @null era in ventesima posizione 54 giorni fa con un totale di 689028 token SPT, oggi il suo totale di token SPT è di 1740864 unità.

Splinterlands è un progetto di successo che offre davvero molte possibilità di guadagno ai suoi giocatori e i token SPT sono un valore aggiunto per tutti i giocatori come me che, oltre a divertirsi a giocare, si divertono anche a scrivere contenuti inerenti al gioco di Splinterlands e partecipano assiduamente ai contest che @splinterlands organizza ogni settimana.
