Today is April 1, 2023 and it is also the fourth Hive Power Up Day.
In 2023, I have always participated in this beautiful initiative and will try to do so throughout the whole year to collect all the Power Up Day badges in the Power Up section of https://hivebuzz.me/.

The Hive Power Up Day badges have symbolic and not economic value but are still an incentive to grow within the Hive blockchain.

Hive is certainly improvable but it is in my opinion the blockchain project that has the most utility and for that reason it is my favorite blockchain project.

4 years and a month ago I became a Hiver and 4 years and a month is a really long time interval but this time seems to have flown by.

It may be because life is always busy and "racing" at an ever-increasing speed but Hive is a daily window of time for me where I have fun.
I have fun posting content.
I enjoy reading and commenting other authors
I have fun playing the games developed and built on Hive

I think having fun in any project is the first step to growing within that project.

It is simply for this reason that I set growth goals on Hive and as I do every beginning of the month I analyze and share my progress toward my goals.

The weight of Hive users is measured by the amount of Hive Power (HP) each user has in their Hive Wallet and my main goal on Hive is always to increase my Hive Power.

In the years prior to the current one, I have always set annual goals with precise amounts of HP to be achieved.
In 2023 I have decided to set a different goal because it is not related to a fixed amount of HP but is related to a status: the status of Orca.

How does one acquire Orca status on Hive?

The exact calculation I don't know but to find out how much HP are needed to become an "orca " on Hive I look at the ranking on https://hivebuzz.me/ranking.
The first Hive user who has Orca status above the Dolphin with the most HP is @katharsisdrill who has a Hive Power of 56100 HP and is in position 296 of the ranking of users with the most HP.

It is therefore 56100 HP the amount of HP I must try to accumulate to reach my goal.

Today, April 1, 2023, I have in my Hive wallet an amount of 34346.29 Hive Power (HP).

I have also delegated 13940.09 HP to several projects I follow but I have decided never to delegate more than 50% of my HP because I like to support the authors I follow with my vote.

I have built a table to track my monthly progress toward Orca status and to self-motivate me at the beginning of each month.

In order to reach my goal, I still need to accumulate 21753.71 HP and I am at 61.22% as my completion percentage.

March was a very good month and I improved the amount of HP gained in one month compared to the previous two months, February and January.

This result was mainly due to:

• to the rewards of the 22 posts that I published in March
• to the Power Up that I made on March 1: 150 HP
• to the Power Up I made on March 20: 87.87 HP

The month of March was also a good month for me because I increased the number of published posts and it is my best publication result since August 2022.

• August 2022: 10 published posts
• September 2022: 16 published posts
• October 2022: 17 published posts
• November 2022: 13 published posts
• December 2022: 15 published posts
• January 2023: 16 published posts
• February 2023: 19 published posts
• March 2023: 22 published posts

One of the secondary goals I set for myself each month is to try to publish one post a day in an entire month, and sooner or later I will achieve it!

Consistency in posting is one of the keys to success on Hive but only when combined with another element that is even more important: interaction.

When a new user asks me for advice or asks why his or her posts are not receiving comments and upvotes the first thing I go to look at is his/her interaction level.

If you are a new user and want to get a measure of your level of interaction you can look at the Activity section of https://hivebuzz.me/@userName (of course you have to substitute your account on Hive for userName) and divide the number of comments by the number of posts you have published.

For example, I published 1300 posts and wrote 19000 comments.

My post/comment ratio is 1/14.61.
That means I wrote 14 comments for every post I published.

In the month of March I wrote 22 posts and 549 comments and the post/comment ratio is 1/24.95

This means that I am increasing my level of interaction and I need to keep it up ;)

If you have a higher number of posts than the number of comments in my opinion you are not giving the right importance to interaction which is a very important element to grow on Hive! ;)

Regarding interaction I have set an annual goal that I would like to reach.

• 2023 Engagement Goal (total number of comments): 25000

On March 1, 2023 I had written a total of 19250 comments.
Today April 1, 2023 the total is 19799 comments.

Another goal I would like to achieve is to enter the top 350 Hive users with the most HP.

In the month of March, I advanced 6 positions (436->428) but I am still far from the 350th place ranking..

The Hive blockchain is more Unique than Rare!

What makes Hive's blockchain more unique than rare are its peculiarities:

• Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".
• Hive is completely decentralized
• Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.
• Hive has no transaction costs
• Hive has many utilities and features
• Hive has a big and beautiful community

I miei obiettivi su Hive + Il mio Hive Power Up

Oggi è il 1 aprile 2023 ed è anche il quarto Hive Power Up Day.
Nel 2023 ho sempre partecipato a questa bella iniziativa e cercherò di farlo per tutto l'anno per collezionare tutti i badges Power Up Day nella sezione Power Up del sito https://hivebuzz.me/.

I badges del Hive Power Up Day hanno un valore simbolico e non economico ma sono comunque un incentivo a far crescere il proprio peso all'interno della blockchain di Hive.

Hive è certamente migliorabile ma è secondo me il progetto blockchain che ha più utilità e per questo motivo è il mio progetto blockchain preferito.
4 anni e un mese fa sono diventato un Hiver e 4 anni e un mese sono davvero un bell'intervallo di tempo ma questo tempo sembra essere volato.

Sarà perchè la vita è sempre piena di impegni e viaggia ad una velocità sempre maggiore ma Hive è per me una finestra temporale giornaliera in cui mi diverto.

Mi diverto a leggere e commentare gli altri autori
Mi diverto a giocare ai giochi sviluppati e costruiti su Hive

Penso che divertirsi in qualsiasi progetto è il primo passo per crescere all'interno di quel progetto.

E' semplicemente per questo motivo che ho fissato degli obiettivi di crescita ben precisi su Hive e come faccio ogni inizio mese analizzo e condivido i miei progressi verso i miei obiettivi.

Il peso degli utenti di Hive si misura con il quantitativo di Hive Power (HP) che ogni utente ha nel suo Hive Wallet e il mio obiettivo principale su Hive è sempre quello di aumentare il mio Hive Power.

Negli anni precedenti a quello attuale ho sempre fissato degli obiettivi annuali con precisi quantitativi di HP da raggiungere.
Nel 2023 ho deciso di fissare un obiettivo diverso perchè non è riferito ad un fissato quantitativo di HP ma è riferito ad uno status: lo status di Orca.

Come si acquisisce lo status di Orca su Hive?

Il calcolo preciso non lo conosco ma per scoprire quanti HP servono per diventare un "orca" su Hive io guardo il ranking del sito https://hivebuzz.me/ranking.
Il primo utente di Hive che ha lo status di Orca sopra il Delfino con il maggior numero di HP è @katharsisdrill che ha un Hive Power di 56100 HP e che si trova nella posizione 296 del ranking degli utenti con più HP.

E' quindi 56100 HP il quantitativo di HP che devo cercare di accumulare per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.

Oggi 1 aprile 2023 ho nel mio Hive wallet un quantitativo di 34346.29 Hive Power (HP).

Ho anche delegato 13940.09 HP a diversi progetti che seguo ma mi sono imposto di non delegare mai più del 50% del mio HP perchè mi piace supportare con il mio voto gli autori che seguo.

Ho costruito una tabella per monitorare i miei progressi mensili verso lo status di Orca e per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese.

Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo devo accumulare ancora 21753.71 HP e sono al 61.22% come percentuale di completamento.

Il mese di marzo è stato un mese molto positivo e ho migliorato il quantitativo di HP guadagnato in un mese rispetto ai due mesi precedenti, febbraio e gennaio.

Questo risultato è dovuto principalmente:

• alle ricompense dei 22 posts che ho pubblicato nel mese di marzo
• al Power Up che ho fatto il 1 marzo: 150 HP
• al Power Up che ho fatto il 20 marzo: 87.87 HP

Il mese di marzo è stato un mese positivo per me anche perchè ho aumentato il numero di post pubblicati ed è il mio miglior risultato di pubblicazione da agosto 2022.

• Agosto 2022: 10 post pubblicati
• Settembre 2022: 16 post pubblicati
• Ottobre 2022: 17 post pubblicati
• Novembre 2022: 13 post pubblicati
• Dicembre 2022: 15 post pubblicati
• Gennaio 2023: 16 post pubblicati
• Febbraio 2023: 19 post pubblicati
• Marzo 2023: 22 post pubblicati

Uno degli obiettivi secondari che mi pongo ogni mese è quello di riuscire a pubblicare un post al giorno in un intero mese e prima o poi ci riuscirò!

La costanza nella pubblicazione è una delle chiavi per avere successo su Hive ma solo se abbinata ad un altro elemento che è ancora più importante: l'interazione.

Quando un nuovo utente mi chiede un consiglio o mi chiede perchè i suoi post non ricevono commenti e upvotes la prima cosa che vado a guardare è il suo livello di interazione.

Se sei un nuovo utente e vuoi avere una misura del tuo livello di interazione puoi guardare la sezione Activity di https://hivebuzz.me/@nomeutente (ovviamente devi sostituire a nomeutente il tuo account su Hive) e dividere il numero di commenti per il numero di post che hai pubblicato.

Ad esempio io ho pubblicato 1300 posts e ho scritto 19000 commenti.

Il mio rapporto post/commenti è 1/14.61
Questo vuol dire che ho scritto 14 commenti per ogni post che ho pubblicato.

Nel mese di marzo ho scritto 22 post e 549 commenti e il rapporto post/commenti è di 1/24.95

Questo vuol dire che sto aumentando il mio livello di interazione e devo continuare a farlo ;)

Se hai un numero di post maggiore del numero di commenti secondo me non stai dando la giusta importanza all'interazione che è un elemento molto importante per crescere su Hive! ;)

Riguardo l'interazione ho fissato un obiettivo annuale che vorrei raggiungere.

• 2023 Engagement Goal (total number of comments): 25000

Il 1 marzo 2023 avevo scritto un totale di 19250 commenti.
Oggi 1 aprile 2023 il totale è di 19799 commenti.

Un altro obiettivo che vorrei raggiungere è entrare nella top 350 degli utenti di Hive con il maggior quantitativo di HP.

Nel mese di marzo sono avanzato di 6 posizioni (436->428) ma sono ancora lontano dal 350° posto in classifica..

Ciò che rende la blockchain di Hive più unica che rara sono le sue peculiarità:
