The drop in the value of BTC and the crash of Terra (LUNA) kicked off the Bear Market.
I have received several messages from friends who are worried about the current situation but I personally live this situation very serenely because the projects I believe in the most are Hive and Splinterlands and in both projects I see a lot of potential and in both projects I have medium to long term goals and for these reasons what happens in the short term interests me relatively.
At this particular time instead of seeing worrying signs I see possible opportunities such as the possibility of increasing my Hive Power and strengthening my position on my beloved Hive by converting HBD tokens to HIVE tokens.

On Splinterlands I have many goals but there are two goals that I would like to achieve as soon as possible:

• return to playing in the Champion leagues.
• to reach a minimum amount of 50000 SPS tokens before the end of the current airdrop.

In my previous posts I have shared my purchasing choices, in today's post I want to continue to share my activity of optimizing my card collection and in particular I will share some of my sales choices with the goal of increasing the amount of DEC tokens available to me to continue to increase the battle strength of my cards.

Returning to play in Champion leagues

Hive was my first blockchain project that I invested in, and Splinterlands was my first blockchain-based game that I played and immediately saw potential in.
In the landscape of blockchain-based games, there are so many games whose main attraction is making money and they are often farming or mining games that require a few clicks and little else.
Splinterlands is different from most other blockchain games because at its base is an NFT-based strategy game that is fun to play.

In order to achieve my first goal and return to playing in Champion leagues, over the past three months I have focused on enhancing the battle strength of my card collection through an optimization activity that consists of:

• buying cards that I think are useful in battle.
• selling cards that are of little use in battle and/or that I never use in battle
• selling cards that are objectively useful in battle but only at a certain level and that for some reason (almost always economic in nature) I am not going to upgrade

I have achieved almost all of the purchase/upgrade goals I had set for myself and shared in my previous posts.
As you can see from the image below, I still have purchase offers (BIDs) active and waiting to be matched on Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/) but most of my goals I have met.

I focused mainly on buying and upgrading some cards from the Chaos Legion edition that have very strong battle statistics and low market prices in relation to their usefulness in battle.
In the image below you can see the Chaos Legion edition legendary cards above the first level that I purchased/upgraded and the level to which I took them.

In the following image you can see the non-legendary cards from the Chaos Legion edition that I upgraded beyond the fourth level.

Boosting the cards I showed you above has not yet allowed me to play in the Champion leagues of Splinterlands but it has allowed me to get closer to my goal.
In fact before I bought and opened 747 packs of Chaos Legion edition cards and before I optimized my card collection I used to finish Splinterlands seasons in Gold II leagues.
Today when there are just under 3 days left until the end of the current season I am in Diamond II league and have a rating score of 3107 points.

Upgrading my card collection has already brought many positive effects but in order to reach Champion leagues I need to keep investing in buying and upgrading the cards.

However, I have a small problem to solve, in order to buy Splinterlands cards it is necessary to use DEC tokens and after my recent purchases I am left with only 13000 DEC tokens in my in-game wallet.

I therefore need a lot of DEC tokens to continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and I have three options for doing so:

• purchase DEC tokens from Hive Engine/Tribal DEX
• remove liquidity from the SWAP.HIVE:DEC pool on Tribal DEX (I have 22 k DEC in the pool)
• sell cards that I do not use in battle.

I discarded the first two options because:

• the SWAP.HIVE tokens are worth little due to the Bear Market effect and for me the HIVE tokens were undervalued when they were worth more than $1 and are more undervalued now that they are worth $0.4 so I don't want to use them right now.
• If I remove the DEC tokens from the SWAP.HIVE:DEC pool on Tribal DEX I lose the benefit of having a double score for the airdrop purposes of SPS tokens and accumulating SPS tokens is another goal of mine.

The only viable option is the third one: sell the cards I don't use in battle.

By the way, selling cards today that 1000 DEC tokens are worth a little more than $1 will allow me to get more DEC tokens than in the past, and consequently I will also have the advantage of getting more SPS tokens from airdrop until the BIDs of my future purchases are accepted.

The choice of sales targets

To evaluate and select cards to sell, I could use the Cards section of the Splinterlands site, but I would have to do a lot of clicking and a lot of switching between screens and to see statistics and market prices of my cards.

To quickly choose cards to sell, I prefer to use the My Cards section of the Peakmonsters site.

Peakmonsters has many more search filters than the Splinterlands site, and most importantly it allows me to view so much information in one screen: number of cards in circulation, battle statistics for each level, market values (low buy, low BCX).

Today I chose to select and offer for sale some of my Gold cards that I have never used in battle or rarely use, and to do so I applied the search filters that you can see in the image below.

I selected only the cards in my collection that:

• are in the Gold version
• are not for sale (For Sale: No)
• Are not available for rental by other players (For Rent: No)
• are owned by me (Owned: Yes)
• I have not used in battle recently (Cooldown: No)

The advantages of Gold version cards over the regular (non-gold) version are mainly 4:

• a higher Collection Power score
• a higher market value
• a bonus of +10% of the reward in DEC tokens for each battle won
• a great utility in Brawls: frays that require gold cards always have few players.

If a gold card is not used in battle it loses two of the four benefits I listed above, and the battle utility of a gold card is the criterion I chose to follow today in deciding whether or not to sell a card in my collection.

The first Gold card I chose to sell is Soulstorm because it is a card I have used a few times in battle and especially because it has a very high market price (low buy) on the market:

• Low buy: $172
• Low buy for BCX: $158

The best buy offer is 89$ so it is very far from the best sell offer (low buy) but I will still try to sell my Soulstorm card at the lowest sell price on the market per single card: 170$.

In the following image you can see the data I entered in the "Confirm Cards Listing" screen of PeakMonsters.

Looking at the monthly sales statistics in the Buy section of PeakMonsters, it is very probable that I will not be able to sell Soulstorm quickly but since Soulstorm is a card that I use very little in battle I can wait without any problems.

If I manage to sell Soulstorm I will receive 146032 DEC tokens which will be very useful for me to continue my business of enhancing the battle strength of my card collection.

In addition to Soulstorm, I also decided to sell Khmer Princess - Gold version because it is a card that I don't use in battle because I also have 1 level 4 Khmer Princess card (Regular version) that has the Tank Heal ability and thus is much more useful in battle than the gold version in my possession.

Again, I decided to put Khmer Princess on sale at the lowest price per single card: $93,623.

Looking at the sales statistics of the previous 30 days, my sale operation will still not be easy to achieve in the short term but much more probable than Soulstorm's sale operation.

If I sell Khmer Princess Gold I will lose 2000 Collection Power points but I will have 80269 DEC tokens to invest in buying and upgrading my card collection.

Conclusion

Today I shared two of my sales goals (Soulstorm and Khmer Princess) that if met will allow me to continue to purchase new cards and/or upgrade the cards I already own with the goal of increasing the battle strength of my card collection.

Getting back to playing in the Champion leagues of Splinterlands will not be an easy goal to achieve but it will be a fun goal to achieve because I enjoy playing on Splinterlands as much as I enjoy optimizing and enhancing my card collection.

Il crollo del valore del BTC e il crash di Terra (LUNA) ha dato il via al Bear Market.
Ho ricevuto diversi messaggi da amici preoccupati per l'attuale situazione ma io personalmente vivo questa situazione in modo molto sereno perchè i progetti in cui credo di più sono Hive e Splinterlands e in entrambi i progetti vedo molto potenziale e in entrambi i progetti ho obiettivi di medio-lungo termine e per questi motivi quello che succede nel breve periodo mi interessa relativamente.
In questo particolare momento invece di vedere segnali preoccupanti vedo delle possibili occasioni come ad esempio la possibilità di incrementare il mio Hive Power e rafforzare la mia posizione sulla mia amata Hive convertendo i token HBD in token HIVE.

Su Splinterlands ho tanti obiettivi ma sono due gli obiettivi che vorrei raggiungere nel più breve tempo possibile:

• ritornare a giocare nelle leghe Champion di Splinterlands
• raggiungere un quantitativo minimo di 50000 token SPS prima della fine dell'airdrop in corso.

Nei miei post precedenti ho condiviso le mie scelte di acquisto, nel post di oggi voglio continuare a condividere la mia attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte e in particolare condividerò alcune mie scelte di vendita con l'obiettivo di incrementare il quantitativo di token DEC a mia disposizione per continuare a incrementare la forza in battaglia delle mie carte.

Ritornare a giocare nelle leghe Champion

Hive è stato il mio primo progetto blockchain in cui ho investito e Splinterlands è stato il mio primo gioco basato su blockchain a cui ho giocato e in cui ho subito visto del potenziale.
Nel panorama dei giochi basati su blockchain ci sono tanti giochi che hanno come principale attrattiva il guadagno e sono spesso giochi di farming o di mining che richiedono pochi click e poco altro.
Splinterlands è differente dalla maggior parte degli altri giochi blockchain perchè alla base c'è un un gioco di strategia basato su NFT che è divertente da giocare.

Per raggiungere il mio primo obiettivo e ritornare a giocare nelle leghe Champion negli ultimi tre mesi mi sono concentrato sul potenziamento della forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte tramite un'attività di ottimizzazione che consiste nel:

• acquistare carte che secondo me sono utili in battaglia
• vendere le carte che sono poco utili in battaglia e/o che non utilizzo mai in battaglia
• vendere le carte che sono oggettivamente utili in battaglia ma solo ad un determinato livello e che per qualche motivo (quasi sempre di natura economica) non ho intenzione di potenziare

Ho raggiunto quasi tutti gli obiettivi di acquisto/potenziamento che mi ero posto e che ho condiviso nei miei precedenti post.
Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente ho ancora delle offerte di acquisto (BID) attive e in attesa di essere abbinate su Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/) ma la maggior parte dei miei obiettivi li ho raggiunti.

Mi sono concentrato principalmente sull'acquisto e potenziamento di alcune carte dell'edizione Chaos Legion che hanno statistiche di battaglia molto forti e prezzi di mercato bassi in relazione alla loro utilità in battaglia.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte leggendarie dell'edizione Chaos Legion di livello superiore al primo che ho acquistato/potenziato e il livello a cui le ho portate.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte non leggendarie dell'edizione Chaos Legion che ho potenziato oltre il quarto livello.

Potenziare le carte che ti ho mostrato prima non mi ha ancora permesso di giocare nelle leghe Champion di Splinterlands ma mi ha permesso di avvicinarmi al mio obiettivo.
Infatti prima di comprare e aprire 747 pacchi di carte dell'edizione Chaos Legion e prima di ottimizzare la mia collezione di carte terminavo le stagioni di Splinterlands in lega Gold II.
Oggi quando mancano poco meno di 3 giorni alla fine della stagione in corso sono in lega Diamond II e ho un punteggio di rating di 3107 punti.

Potenziare la mia collezione di carte ha già portato molti effetti positivi ma per raggiungere le leghe Champion devo continuare a investire nell'acquisto e nel potenziamento delle carte della mia collezione.

Ho però un piccolo problema da risolvere, per comprare le carte di Splinterlands è necessario utilizzare i token DEC e dopo i miei recenti acquisti sono rimasto con solo 13000 token DEC nel mio in-game wallet.

Ho quindi bisogno di molti token DEC per continuare ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e ho tre opzioni per farlo:

• acquistare token DEC da Hive Engine/Tribal DEX
• togliere liquidità dalla pool SWAP.HIVE:DEC su Tribal DEX (ho 22 k DEC nella pool)
• vendere carte che non uso in battaglia.

Ho scartato le prime due opzioni perchè:

• i token SWAP.HIVE valgono poco per effetto del Bear Market e per me i token HIVE erano sottostimati quando valevano più di 1$ e lo sono maggiormente adesso che valgono 0.4$ e quindi non voglio utilizzarli in questo momento.
• se tolgo i token DEC dalla pool SWAP.HIVE:DEC su Tribal DEX perdo il vantaggio di avere un punteggio doppio ai fini dell'airdrop dei token SPS e accumulare token SPS è un altro mio obiettivo.

L'unica opzione percorribile è la terza: vendere le carte che non uso in battaglia.

Tra l'altro vendere le carte oggi che 1000 token DEC valgono poco più di 1$ mi permetterà di ottenere un numero maggiore di token DEC rispetto al passato e di conseguenza avrò anche il vantaggio di ottenere più token SPS dall'airdrop fino a quando le offerte BID dei miei futuri acquisti non saranno accettate.

La scelta degli obiettivi di vendita

Per valutare e selezionare le carte da vendere potrei utilizzare la sezione Cards del sito di Splinterlands ma dovrei fare molti click e molti passaggi per passare da una schermata ad un'altra e per vedere statistiche e prezzi di mercato delle mie carte.

Per scegliere velocemente le carte da vendere preferisco utilizzare la sezione My Cards del sito di Peakmonsters.

Peakmonsters ha molti più filtri di ricerca rispetto al sito di Splinterlands e soprattutto mi permette di visualizzare tante informazioni in un'unica schermata: numero di carte in circolazione, statistiche di battaglia per ogni livello, valori di mercato (low buy, low BCX).

Oggi ho scelto di selezionare e mettere in vendita alcune delle mie carte Gold che non ho mai utilizzato in battaglia o che utilizzo raramente e per farlo ho applicato i filtri di ricerca che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.

Ho selezionato solo le carte della mia collezione che:

• sono in versione Gold
• non sono in vendita (For Sale: No)
• non sono a disposizione per il noleggio da parte di altri giocatori (For Rent: No)
• sono di mia proprietà (Owned: Yes)
• non ho utilizzato in battaglia di recente (Cooldown: No)

I vantaggi delle carte in versione Gold rispetto alla versione regular (non gold) sono principalmente 4:

• un maggiore punteggio Collection Power
• un maggiore valore di mercato
• un bonus del +10% della ricompensa in token DEC per ogni battaglia vinta
• una grande utilità nelle Brawls: le frays che richiedono carte dorate hanno sempre pochi giocatori.

Se una carta gold non viene usata in battaglia perde due dei quattro vantaggi che ho elencato sopra e l'utilità in battaglia di una carta gold è il criterio che ho scelto di seguire oggi per decidere se vendere o meno una carta della mia collezione.

La prima carta Gold che ho scelto di vendere è Soulstorm perchè è una carta che ho usato poche volte in battaglia e soprattutto perchè ha un prezzo di mercato (low buy) molto alto sul mercato:

• Low buy: 172$
• Low buy per BCX: 158$

La migliore offerta di acquisto è di 89$ e quindi è molto distante dalla migliore offerta di vendita (low buy) ma proverò comunque a vendere la mia carta Soulstorm al prezzo di vendita più basso sul mercato per singola carta: 170$.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i dati che ho inserito nella schermata "Confirm Cards Listing" di PeakMonsters.

Oltre a Soulstorm ho deciso di vendere anche Khmer Princess - versione Gold perchè è una carta che non uso in battaglia perchè ho anche 1 carta Khmer Princess di livello 4 (Regular version) che ha l'abilità Tank Heal e quindi è molto più utile in battaglia rispetto alla versione gold in mio possesso.

Anche in questo caso ho deciso di mettere in vendita Khmer Princess al prezzo più basso per singola carta: 93.623$.

Guardando le statistiche di vendita dei precedenti 30 giorni la mia operazione di vendita sarà comunque non facile da realizzare nel breve periodo ma molto più probabile rispetto all'operazione di vendita di Soulstorm.

Se venderò Khmer Princess Gold perderò 2000 punti di Collection Power ma avrò 80269 token DEC da investire nell'acquisto e nel potenziamento della mia collezione di carte.

Conclusione

Oggi ho condiviso due miei obiettivi di vendita (Soulstorm e Khmer Princess) che se raggiunti mi permetteranno di continuare ad acquistare nuove carte e/o potenziare le carte che possiedo già con lo scopo di aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte.

Tornare a giocare nelle leghe Champion di Splinterlands non sarà un obiettivo facile da raggiungere ma sarà un obiettivo divertente da raggiungere perchè giocare su Splinterlands mi piace come mi piace ottimizzare e potenziare la mia collezione di carte.
