Rising Star is an NFT-based game created and developed on the Hive blockchain.
Rising Star is also one of my favorite blockchain-based games because it has a theme that is very close to my heart, music, and also because it is an easy game to play that requires little time and a few clicks per day.
Rising Star is also the game I recommend to those who have never tried a blockchain-based game because it is a FREE TO PLAY game: it has no signup fee and requires no initial investment.

Today I want to show two interesting new features introduced in the Rising Star game:

  • The Promote Fan Club mission.
  • The useful site Rising Star Game Fam.

Promote Fan Club

Promote Fan Club is the latest addition to the Rising Star game.
Promote Fan Club is a special mission in the game from the completion of which you do not get an amount of STARBITS tokens as with most other missions in the game.

The reward for completing a certain number of Promote Fan Club missions is a game card.
In the following image you can see the number of Promote Fan Club missions required to receive a card as a reward.

The first card you receive as a reward for completing two Promote Fan Club missions is the FCI Membership Card (image below).

There are a total of 28 cards that can be received for completing Promote Fan Club missions.

At the completion of Promote Fan Club mission number 700 you will receive the FC28 Courtney card, which has excellent game stats:

  • 5000 Fans
  • 5000 Skill
  • 350 Luck
  • 100 IM

Note: Cards belonging to the Fan Club category will be required in future features.

The Promote Fan Club mission has 4 entry requirements:

  • image.png minimum number of Fans.
  • image.png Minimum Level to carry out the mission
  • image.png amount of time needed to complete the mission
  • image.png minimum amount of energy.

Promote Fan Club missions also have a cost and to complete a single mission you need to spend an amount of STARPRO tokens: 0.024

STARPRO tokens can be obtained by using STARBITS tokens within the Music Promoter section.

STARPRO tokens are also second-level tokens of Hive's blockchain and can be bought, sold and transferred from exchanges such as Hive Engine or TribalDex.
Today, February 21, 1 STARPRO token has a value of:

  • 6.09999 SWAP.HIVE (Highest BID).
  • 6.202 SWAP.HIVE (Lowest ASK)

STARPRO tokens have had a big increase in value just with the introduction of the Promote Fan Club missions that have in fact introduced a new use case for STARPRO tokens.

In the following image you can see the top 10 positions of the Richlist of STARPRO tokens.

Each Promote Fan Club mission has a cost of 0.024 STARPRO which corresponds to the following values:

  • 0.1488 SWAP.HIVE
  • 0.1335$
  • 579.17 STARBITS

To complete all 700 Promote Fan Club missions you must spend a total of 16.80 tokens STARPRO = 104.194 HIVE = 93.46$

Should you participate in the Promote Fan Club missions?

I asked myself the question if participating in the Promote Fan Club missions is worthwhile or not.

To answer this question, I calculated the total attributes of the 28 cards obtainable from the Promote Fan Club missions:

  • Totale Fans: 8555
  • Totale Skill: 7102
  • Totale Luck: 671
  • Totale IM: 145

In my opinion, it is convenient to participate in the Promote Fan Club missions if the cost to obtain 8555 Fans and/or 7102 SKILLs is lower than the cost to obtain the same number of Fans and/or Skill by purchasing cards from the market.

Thanks to the Rising Star Game Fam site (https://rsgfam.com/) I have verified that the purchase of the R137 Silent X card allows to obtain 54 Fans for each STARBITS spent.

This means that if I want to increase my number of Fans by 8555 units by buying cards from the market I have to spend at least 461970 STARBITS (54 * 8555).

If I want to increase my number of Skill points by 7102 points by buying cards from the market I have to spend 56.66 STARBITS for each SKILL point.

This means that if I want to increase my number of Skill points by 7102 by buying cards from the market I have to spend a total of 397712 STARBITS (56.66 * 7102).

Because completing all Promote Fan Club missions would cost me a total of 405422 STARBITS I can say that:

  • to increase the number of Fans it is much cheaper to complete the Promote Fan Club missions instead of buying cards from the market (405422 STARBITS vs 461970 STARBITS)
  • to increase the number of Skill points, it is a slightly cheaper way to complete Fan Club Promote missions than to buy cards from the market (405422 STARBITS vs 397712 STARBITS)

The number of Fans is an important requirement for Rising Star missions, so completing Promote Fan Club missions right now is cheaper than buying cards from the market.
Among other things, the cards obtainable from the Promote Fan Club missions will be useful for future features of the Rising Star game.

For the reasons stated above, I will start doing the Promote Fan Club missions, but I will not be in a hurry to finish them as soon as possible.
I will perform the missions as I need to increase my number of Fans to unlock Rising Star missions.
To buy STARPRO tokens I will always Bid to get a lower purchase cost.

The Rising Star Game Fam site was created by @foxon who is a great Rising Star player.

It is a very useful site because it allows you to find in a few seconds the most convenient cards to buy on the market to increase:

  • the number of Fans

  • the number of Skill points

  • the number of Luck points based on the musical lesson an instrument card is functional to.

You can filter the results by choosing from three different payment methods:

  • STARBITS
  • SWAP.HIVE
  • SWAP.WAX

Before discovering this site I had built myself a spreadsheet to calculate the Luck/$ Fans/$ and Skill/$ ratios for every Rising Star card on the market.

Now thanks to the Rising Star Game Fam site I will be able to choose the cards to buy saving a lot of time because I will no longer have to manually enter the market prices of Rising Star cards in my spreadsheet.

My game progress

In conclusion I want to share my progress within the Rising Star game.

I am level 107 and have 83341 STARBITS tokens in the in-game wallet.

I also have 1 million STARBITS tokens in my Hive Engine wallet.

In the following image you can see my game stats.

My next game goal is to unlock the County Festival Auditions mission.

In order to unlock the County Festival Auditions mission, I need to reach game level of 125 and I need to increase the number of my Fans to 4000 units.

To increase my game level up to level 125 I will have to do many missions and therefore it will take more than about two months.
To increase my number of Fans I will start doing Promote Fan Club missions.

Promote Fan Club

Promote Fan Club è l'ultima novità introdotta nel gioco di Rising Star.
Promote Fan Club è una missione speciale del gioco dal cui completamento non si ottiene un quantitativo di token STARBITS come per la maggior parte delle altre missioni del gioco.

Il premio per il completamento di un certo numero di missioni Promote Fan Club è una carta del gioco.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il numero di missioni Promote Fan Club richiesto per ricevere come premio una carta.

La prima carta che si riceve come premio per aver completato due missioni Promote Fan Club è la carta FCI Membership Card (immagine seguente).

Le carte ricevibili per il completamento delle missioni Promote Fan Club sono in totale 28.

Al completamento della missione Promote Fan Club numero 700 si riceve la carta FC28 Courtney che ha ottime statistiche di gioco:

Oggi 21 febbraio 1 token STARPRO ha un valore di:

Conviene partecipare alle missioni Promote Fan Club?

Mi sono posto la domanda se partecipare alle missioni Promote Fan Club fosse conveniente o meno.

Per rispondere a questa domanda ho calcolato il totale degli attributi delle 28 carte ottenibili dal completamente delle missioni Promote Fan Club:

  • Totale Fans: 8555
  • Totale Skill: 7102
  • Totale Luck: 671
  • Totale IM: 145

Secondo me è convienente partecipare alle missioni Promote Fan Club se il costo per ottenere 8555 Fans e/o 7102 SKILL è inferiore al costo per ottenere lo stesso numero di Fans e/o Skill acquistando carte dal mercato.

Grazie al sito Rising Star Game Fam (https://rsgfam.com/) ho verificato che l'acquisto della carta R137 Silent X permette di ottenere 54 Fans per ogni STARBITS speso.

Questo vuol dire che se voglio aumentare il mio numero di Fans di 8555 unità acquistando carte dal mercato devo spendere almeno 461970 STARBITS (54 * 8555)

Se voglio aumentare il mio numero di punti Skill di 7102 punti acquistando carte dal mercato devo spendere 56.66 STARBITS per ogni punto SKILL.

Questo vuol dire che se voglio aumentare il mio numero di punti Skill di 7102 unità acquistando carte dal mercato devo spendere in totale 397712 STARBITS (56.66 * 7102).

Poichè completare tutte le missioni Promote Fan Club mi costerebbe in totale 405422 STARBITS posso affermare che:

  • per aumentare il numero dei Fans è molto più conveniente completare le missioni Promote Fan Club invece di comprare le carte dal mercato (405422 STARBITS vs 461970 STARBITS)
  • per aumentare il numero dei punti Skill è leggermente meno conveniente completare le missioni Promote Fan Club rispetto all'acquisto di carte dal mercato (405422 STARBITS vs 397712 STARBITS)

Il numero dei Fans è un requisito importante per lo svolgimento delle missioni di Rising Star e per questo motivo completare le missioni Promote Fan Club in questo momento è più conveniente rispetto all'acquisto di carte dal mercato.
Tra l'altro le carte ottenibili dalle missioni Promote Fan Club saranno utili per funzionalità future del gioco di Rising Star.

Per i motivi sopra esposti inizierò a svolgere le missioni Promote Fan Club ma non avrò fretta di terminarle nel più breve tempo possibile.
Svolgerò le missioni man mano che avrò bisogno di aumentare il mio numero di Fans per sbloccare le missioni di Rising Star.
Per comprare i token STARPRO farò sempre offerte Bid per ottenere un costo di acquisto inferiore.

E' un sito davvero utile perchè permette di trovare in pochi secondi le carte più convenienti da acquistare sul mercato per aumentare:

  • il numero di Fans

  • il numero dei punti Luck in base alla missione musicale a cui una carta strumento è funzionale.

E' possibile filtrare i risultati scegliendo tra tre diversi metodi di pagamento:

  • STARBITS

Prima di scoprire questo sito mi ero costruito un foglio di calcolo per calcolare i rapporti Luck/$ Fans/$ e Skill/$ per ogni carta di Rising Star presente sul mercato.

Adesso grazie al sito Rising Star Game Fam potrò scegliere le carte da acquistare risparmiando molto tempo perchè non dovrò più inserire manualmente i prezzi di mercato delle carte di Rising Star nel mio foglio di calcolo.

Per sbloccare la missione County Festival Auditions devo raggiungere il livello di gioco 125 e devo portare il numero dei miei Fans fissi a 4000 unità.

Per aumentare il mio livello di gioco fino al livello 125 dovrò svolgere molte missioni e quindi ci vorranno più di circa due mesi.
Per aumentare il mio numero di Fans inizierò a svolgere le missioni Promote Fan Club.

Wow that is a great analysis of things. STARPRO has gone up so much in price that I don't even know if I will be doing the festival tour but the current prices doesn't seem that bad. The stats of the card is fairly good and it's worth like half of a legendary card.

Yes, even if the price of STARPRO tokens has gone up a lot I think participating in the new missions is profitable especially if you consider that the cards will have a future use ;)

Si è un gioco molto interessante soprattutto perchè è un free to play e perchè richiede poco tempo = pochi click al giorno.

Da parte mia sto sfruttando ogni possibilità gratis d'arrivo pizza, caffè e fan ubriachi per fare quanti più possibili open mic e midweek (raramente arrivo pure a busking with licence). Trovandomi tutto il giorno davanti al pc per lavoro (sempre e quando non debba uscir di casa, quarantena terminata), rising star lo faccio andare a manetta. Devo accumulare per la cipolla, che mi serve davvero, se no non sblocco la quest dcrops🤣

vuoi dire che ti serve la cipolla per sbloccare una singola quest?
Considera che per avere i premi dalle quests devono essere completate tutte le quests e una singola quest non è sufficiente.
Te l'ho già scritto in precedenza ed è solo la mia opinione: considerando quello che offre al momento Rising Star rispetto a Dcrops diciamo che stai puntando sul cavallo che corre meno e dovresti invertire le priorità.
Secondo me prima di Dcrops dovresti cercare di avere carte per poter svolgere tutte le missioni della prima zona e poi dovresti puntare a prendere Pizza Slice per avere energia a sufficienza per fare tutte le missioni che vuoi al giorno.
Io al posto tuo punterei prima su Rising Star e solo dopo su Dcrops.
Rising Star ti ricompensa tanto con poco investimento
Dcrops ti ricompensa poco con un investimento molto maggiore
Con 140 NFT e 20 pacchi non aperti su Dcrops guadagno circa 3 HIVE ogni 15 giorni.
Su Rising Star con meno di 100 NFT guadagno circa 3,4 HIVE al giorno
Ok è vero che posso fare la missione milionaria che mi dà 10000 STARBITS al giorno ma se escludo questa guadagno 1 HIVE al giorno e non faccio tutte le missioni che potrei
Il ritorno su Dcrops è molto lungo in termini di tempo su Rising Star è il contrario ;)
Ovviamente parlando di giochi conta molto il gusto soggettivo ma Rising Star è una ferrari in confronto a Dcrops che è una cinquecento che potrebbe diventare una ferrari ma potrebbe anche finire dal meccanico...

No, aspè, per quest intendevo tutto quanto il blocco. 5 missioni le ho già sbloccate, poi ne ho una in itinere, altre tre posso iniziarle perchè ho la barbabietola e il cavolo e me ne rimane poi una sola dove ci va la cipolla. Non vorrei impiegare anni soltanto per una cipolla, ora che sono a posto con il resto della quest🤣. Con il tempo, in ogni caso, la pizza slice la prenderò comunque, dopo la cipolla. Vorrei solo prima terminare tutta la quest e poi inizierò a pensare di più anche a rising star. Ma speriamo dcrops non finisca dal meccanico🤣.

Ciao @lozio71 si non ho provato ma penso che sia questo il motivo, quel messaggio di errore indica che il quantitativo di STARPRO non è sufficiente e quindi devi provare a trasferirli nel wallet in-game ;)

È l'unico motivo che mi possa venire in mente perché mi abbia dato un errore del genere, e comunque ora ho provato a depositare uno Starpro, perché quello è il minimo che mi fa versare, sul wallet interno di Rising Star, e appena ho energia sufficiente proverò a fare quella missione per vedere di portarmi a casa le prime carte

Nel frattempo curiosero un po' su altri dei tuoi post che sono, come sempre, fonte di preziosi consigli, ed informazioni utili, per chiunque voglia approcciarsi ad uno dei giochi dei quali tratti o, comunque, in generale, al mondo di Hive, del quale, oramai, sei un vero esperto.
