Mi amiga Paola hace tiempo había subido una reseña de la serie “Inventando a Anna” producción original de Netflix, de inmediato me llamo la atención así que no dude en verla y saber si era así de buena como comentaba mi amiga, al terminarla quede bastante sorprendida porque no tenía idea de que fuera basada en hechos reales, por supuesto me puse a indagar más sobre este caso tan peculiar e interesante, sin duda alguna me quede con muchas ganas de hablar de ello.
Ya hace tiempo hubo un revuelo en las redes sociales por el documental que lanzo Netflix del “Estafador de tinder” y la verdad no me había llamado la atención, lo esquivaba mucho hasta que no hace mucho no tenía nada que ver en Netflix y lo reproduje, recuerdo que mientras que lo veía pensé “Yo también hubiese caído en esa trampa” las preguntas circulaban en mi cabeza eran las misma que me hacía cuando vi la serie de “Ineventando a Anna” ¿Dónde carajo sacaban tanta plata?

Some time ago there was a commotion in social networks about the documentary that Netflix released about the "Tinder scammer" and the truth is that it had not caught my attention, I avoided it a lot until not long ago I had nothing to see on Netflix and I played it, I remember that while watching it I thought "I would have also fallen into that trap" the questions circulating in my head were the same ones I asked myself when I saw the series of "Ineventando a Anna" Where the fuck did they get so much money?
Ambas producciones me dejo en que pensar, tenía tantas preguntas sin responder, siendo una de ellas ¿Es culpa de ellos o de las víctimas por confiar?
Inventando a Anna (Serie de Netflix)
Inventando Anna es una serie que me encanto, estuvo muy entretenida, es una serie que me hizo recordar un poco la estética de “Gossip girl” en cuanto a la ciudad de ensueño Nueva York, la ropa de marca y bonita, la comunidad elite, a las personas que solo conectan por fama o cargo importantes, entre otras cosas. Anna quería pertenecer a ese mundo con el objetivo de convertirse en uno de la elite y abrir una empresa, solo que había un pequeño problema, y es que Anna no tenía dinero por lo que pidió préstamos a los bancos con el fin de verse y tener lo necesario para que creyeran que era rica, pero no solo se necesita eso para que te crean, necesitas una historia creíble y contarla con toda seguridad, eso fue lo que hizo Anna para tener a todos detrás de ella y así pertenecer en su grupo.
Además Anna era (digo “era” porque no sé si sigue con esa mentalidad) una persona pila y tenía muy claro sus objetivos por eso su mentira duro tantos años, era una persona segura de lo que hacía además de ser muy inteligente, hasta que llego un punto en donde exigía grandes cantidades de dinero y ni siquiera había devuelto sus préstamos, entonces todo se estaba volviendo muy complicado para ella, sus amigos salieron perjudicados y estafados.
Es una serie 10/10 la recomiendo mucho.
El estafador de Tinder (Documental de Netflix)
Esta producción debo confesar que al inicio me atrapo mucho, pero después hubo un momento en que me aburrió y me quede dormida como por 5min tuve que retroceder para entender que había pasado. El documental comienza por Cecilie quien había conectado con este hombre en Tinder, desde el inicio todo parecía surrealista, la verdad era como si lo hubieran sacado de una película romántica, resulta que él le hizo ver a ella que él tenía mucho dinero por medio de cenas, regalos, hoteles de todo, entonces básicamente el enamoraba a su víctima para luego en el trascurso aventar una historia que tuviera que ver con su supuesta empresa de “diamantes” el punto es que el empieza a pedir exageradamente una cantidad de dinero que a su vez su víctima no lo tiene por lo que llega pedir prestado a los bancos, ese dinero él lo usa para enamorar a su próxima víctima y así sucesivamente, pero como dice el dicho “La verdad siempre se descubre”.

Inventing Anna (Netflix Series)
Inventing Anna is a series that I loved, it was very entertaining, it is a series that reminded me a little of the aesthetics of "Gossip girl" in terms of the dream city New York, the branded and beautiful clothes, the elite community, people who only connect for fame or important position, among other things. Anna wanted to belong to that world with the goal of becoming one of the elite and open a company, only there was a small problem, and that is that Anna had no money so she asked for loans to banks in order to look and have the necessary to believe that she was rich, but not only you need that to be believed, you need a credible story and tell it with confidence, that's what Anna did to have everyone behind her and thus belong to her group.
Besides Anna was (I say "was" because I don't know if she still has that mentality) a stack person and had very clear her goals that's why her lie lasted so many years, she was a person sure of what she was doing besides being very intelligent, until she reached a point where she demanded large amounts of money and had not even paid back her loans, then everything was becoming very complicated for her, her friends were harmed and scammed.
It is a 10/10 series I highly recommend it.
The Tinder Scammer (Netflix Documentary)
This production I must confess that at the beginning it caught me a lot, but then there was a moment when it bored me and I fell asleep for about 5min I had to go back to understand what had happened. The documentary begins with Cecilie who had connected with this man on Tinder, from the beginning everything seemed surreal, the truth was as if they had taken him out of a romantic movie, it turns out that he made her see that he had a lot of money through dinners, gifts, hotels of everything, then basically he would make his victim fall in love with him and then in the course of the story he would come up with a story that had to do with his supposed "diamond" company, the point is that he would start asking for an exaggerated amount of money that his victim did not have, so he would borrow money from the banks, he would use that money to make his next victim fall in love with him and so on, but as the saying goes "The truth is always discovered".
¿Qué tienen en común?
Que ambos son experto en la manipulación, son inteligente y supieron como tener el control de una persona, ambos sabían lo que quería ver o escuchar las demás personas, cuidaron cada detalle de lo que querían mostrar en si mismo, los estafadores son personas manipuladores, recurren a las personas “débiles” “sensibles” pero más allá a personas que depositan la confianza en ellos, sin embargo como dije anteriormente tanto como Anna y Simon supieron como convencer a esas personas, ellos ya saben que las “las palabras” no son suficientes si no más demostrar lo mayor posible para que sea vea creíble.
¿Las víctimas?
¿Es culpa de ellos o de las víctimas por confiar? No culpo a las víctimas, si nadie depositara su confianza, no existiría nada, ni los negocios, ni relaciones o amigos, en si todo, la confianza es algo que debemos aportar sabiendo el riesgo que estamos expuestos, entonces sí puedo entender lo que debieron pasar, sin embargo hubieron muchas personas que se dejaron por la avaricia o por beneficios que les importaba, sin embargo eso no se justifica lo que hicieron los estafadores, pero si hubieron víctimas que lo hicieron por amor o amistad, porque realmente crearon conexión con ellos. Debemos tener cuidado en quien confiamos y sobre todo ser pacientes para cualquier conexión que quieras con otra persona.
¿Se hizo justicia?
Siento que no, a pesar de que ambos estafadores no son asesinos ni hicieron acto de violencia, sin embargo si estafaron y arruinaron las vidas de muchas personas, siento que debían cumplir una condena de 5 años por lo menos, o pagar las deudas que le hicieron tener a las víctimas o bancos.
Me gustó mucho que existan series o documentales basados en estas historias es algo que debemos estar más alarmados, han existido casos de muertes por gente extraña que conocen por internet, entonces debemos estar atentos a esto.

That both are expert in manipulation, they are intelligent and knew how to have the control of a person, both knew what the other people wanted to see or hear, they took care of every detail of what they wanted to show in themselves, the swindlers are manipulative people, they resort to the "weak" "sensitive" people but furthermore to people who put their trust in them, however as I said before both Anna and Simon knew how to convince those people, they already know that the "words" are not enough if not more demonstrate as much as possible to make it look credible.
The victims?
Is it their fault or the victims' fault for trusting? I do not blame the victims, if no one placed their trust, nothing would exist, neither business, nor relationships or friends, in fact everything, trust is something that we must bring knowing the risk that we are exposed, then yes I can understand what they had to go through, however there were many people who left for greed or for benefits that mattered to them, however that does not justify what the scammers did, but if there were victims who did it for love or friendship, because they really created a connection with them. We must be careful who we trust and above all be patient for any connection you want with another person.
Was justice done?
I feel no, even though both scammers are not murderers nor did they do any act of violence, however they did scam and ruined the lives of many people, I feel they should serve a 5 year sentence at least, or pay the debts they made the victims or banks have.
I really liked that there are series or documentaries based on these stories is something that we should be more alarmed, there have been cases of deaths by strange people who know by internet, then we must be attentive to this.

Yo estaba viendo Inventando a Anna, la otra serie no la he visto aunque sí he leído sobre el revuelo en redes. Ahora bien, tienes razón no creo que haya justicia. Es más ahora son referencia y famosos por quienes hacen culto a este tipo de sucesos. Es como Charles Manson y así sucesivamente, lo que querían más allá de estafar, para mí, fue fama y la alcanzaron.
