What’s your biggest(s) regret with crypto?

The first that pops to my mind is not powering down and dumping all of my steem when prices were above 5 dollars! Silly me, I actually thought it could go much much higher!

I did sell some near the top, but nothing special, I could have made some serious $$ despite having a relatively small bag of about 10k coins.

Oh well, three years later I (maybe!) got a bit wiser and I think I have selected my main bags much wiser.

What about you ?

Not sticking to Steemit when I first found out about it. Not that I wish I was still there, but I probably would have discovered Hive a lot sooner than I did and I'd have much more Hive by now too.

  • Not buying LEO when it was very cheap and turning it on for curation.

  • Not getting into aie infinity when I had the chance for less than $100.

So i often tell this story.. this crypto legend as it were. Where i came into crypto in 2016. Steemit being my first real introduction to crypto. That's why i've always felt it so important easy system interfaces exist onboarding new users. So wasn't long before the big wave of 2017 hit.

A little earlier i had already positioned myself into a system called shadowbot. That was aiming to create the best system on the steem blockchain. A system that valued the user based not just on steem power but on reputation score.. community engagement and the system would focus votes based on that. I entered the system earlier one of the first pioneers. Soon my vote power made up about 1/3rd the pool. i climbed to one of the highest rankings on the system.

Right after btc hits around 20k and sbd goes up to about $20 and steem to about $11. I have at this point most of the pool votes going to me and tons of sbd's.. i make a small fortune go out and buy a brand new car.. recently some people placed cars they were able to purchase on a thread. I"m happy for them but i saw those cars and the car i purchased was like 10x the value of their cars so were my holdings. I hired a full time cleaning lady.. i went on exotic vacations i did everything one can hope for in crypto.

My regret was after steem crashed and the biggest pool holders lost all their money and were frustrated and gave up on steem. My regret was not resurrecting this voting pool system that would treat everyone on the platform with dignity and honor and expose them to the opportunities i had.

There is a silverlining. i did finally resurrect the system. However it's taken me years.. many years of crypto issues when they didnt have to be. However so many in crypto made so many mistakes from steem to bitcoin and many others. Just this total ignorance of what crypto is and they still make it today i allowed that to be a deterrant for me too long.

I should have done this earlier but bitcoin myk exist now in this time. You say you got alot wiser. Have you really? I'm looking at some of the holdings you have and they look like pyramid ponzi schemes to me. See i think you making the same mistakes many have made in crypto. You hold no btcmyk or bbd tokens. You should if you understand crypto. It is the responsibility of you the personal investor not the project to be aware and vigilante in that awareness.

Remember its never the project everyone sees. if that were the case then everyone would be successful in their portfolios. No it's what you don't see. People what i'm saying to you is not holding btcmyk or bbd is going to be your Second regret you should have that. You all have become subjected to the idea that this is a casino and use case doesn't really matter to you all. Crypto doesn't really matter to you all its just a thinly disguised veil to collect fiat currency.

However i regret being lax on bringing education to this space that i feel you all desperately need. I hope you all don't regret not listening.
