Today is my 1213th day on Hive. It is my 1213th straight day posting.

The biggest change in my life is it has made me more confident and Mr. Positive was born out of Hive.

Cha get my life.

I have been on Hive for 11 months as I joined 24.Dec 2021. I am spending lots of time on Hive creating content, learning tokenomics and play2earn games.

Thanks for choosing my suggestion 😊

I've been here for more than a year, and only become active this year. So far, Hive opened new opportunities for me. I had a lot of losses in my investment in another chain which demotivates me to keep going in this crypto world. But Hive motivates me to start anew and save again for my future. Moreover, I'm gaining new knowledge here as well, about life and crypto.

Hive is a great place to learn and also to find friends and grow in the crypto sphere. Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

I joined Hive last July, though I read about it a lot of times on other blogging platforms I am active. Thus, I was so hesitant to join until @jane1289 wrote about it.
Been an active user for almost a month and with the help of hiveph, her and other users here I learned how it works.

I am still a noob in crypto, but being here added some knowledge to be used.
Now, I can say, I enjoy roaming around here. Gaining some confidence not only in writing, engaging with other people but of course a lot more.

Great question from Jane :)

I've been on Hive for over a year although I only started getting active around October last year. I can say that being here makes me learn many things not only about crypto and investing, but it is also helping me develop or cultivate some good habits like persistence, consistency and patience.

I have been on hive for 15 months due to Splinterlands. However excluding that splinterlands, the more precise timing is 12 months. That's the point when I started exploring other things on HIVE.

for me HIVE is a unique ecosystem, one side is like a social media where people share something, on other side we can see poeple making money here by mining / minting crypto from post, sometime this become like a big library where we can learn alot of thing, and many other side depend on the each preference.

for me hive is like a second life, place not just to spend time, but to grow and interact with others too

I joined Hive on September 23, 2021, so one year, two months, and one weeks ago. Pretty much as soon as I arrived in this glorious blockchain ecosystem I perceived not only its exquisite technological elegance (being the tech geek that I am), but also its mind-blowing potential, and I have been all in ever since! The longer I'm here, the deeper I go, and the more I learn, the more passionate, committed, focused, and dedicated I become!

I've posted between one to four times per day since February 1st, so for 10 months straight! Hive is very important to me, which is why I've thoroughly integrated it into the flow of my life. I am so ridiculously grateful for Hive, and all the truly wonderful people that make it up!

While I am on a great many alternative platforms, once I discovered Hive, it quickly became my online home. Nothing else can compare! Im all in for the long haul! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I joined hive (steemit back then) on June 2017, it was a long time ago (more than 5 years), but my progress is not that much yet still enjoyable. The first Impact was that I manage to withdraw some when (SBD) was at its peak just when the volcano in my hometown erupted back in 2017 so it help me and my family finance back then.

The other thing is that I manage to make friends (some I have met in real life), and learn a lot of things, especially photography. And this is the place where I gain confidence in my photo work, as everyone is supportive.

overall, it has changed me a lot.

I've been on Hive for three years now. It's been my second home, as I hardly go anywhere these days. !LOL I've been through quite a lot the past years, and I'm glad that the IAAC initiated by @flaxz has kept me sane (?) all this time. Hive has also been my therapy as I go through my healing process of losing Mom last year and my beloved pet Midnight early this year. I'm a work in progress, and I'm glad that the #LarryIsAlive and #aliveandthriving tasks have been helping me keep my focus.

Happy to have seen this challenge again via LN. Keep up the great work guys!

5 years and counting for me, although I left for a couple years during the whole fiasco. There wasn't a lot to be positive about during those times so I just tuned it all out.

Hive is now a daily ritual for me. It's the first thing I do every morning and the last thing I check at night. I make sure I read a few articles about the latest news in regards to the things I care about and get my votes in. Once my work season ends I'll be posting fairly regularly again as well.

I view Hive as a giant savings account. Every day I'm adding 13-15 Hive to my account through curation, delegation, passive Hive-paying projects, and regular inflation. Ultimately, the goal is to be able to build enough of a stake that if and when Hive finally goes mainstream I will be able to basically live off of the income. Whether that actually happens or not, I do believe that Hive is here to stay and with all the other projects being connected to and built upon it, eventually one or more will take off and allow me to make a meaningful income from place.

Time will tell. In the meantime, I'll just keep building every day. At these low levels, I'm confident that worst-case scenario isn't much less than it is right now.

Stupid Splinterlands....

Let me guess, early season frustration???

0

avatar

Early season, late season, mid season, they're all the same. I just get tired of the RNG pounding me. I swear I can put up identical lineups and lose 9 out of 10 due to misses and who goes first. It will probably eventually drive me away from playing. I realize there's always going to be a certain amount of luck involved but...drives me crazy. I don't mind getting beat when I've been outplayed but there is nothing fun about knowing what your opponent is going to do, putting out a great counter, and losing anyway to luck of the dice.

At some point I'll probably just have to rent my deck and work my land...

Recently, I make an effort to increase the speed of my team as much as possible with swiftness and slow. Like that I'm the first to hit :-). It helped to bring my win rate up but I totally get what you are saying.

0
0
0.000
avatar

Yes, but my point is you actually have to hit for it to matter. :-) I mean, seriously, I can't tell you how many times I'll go against the Pelacor Conjuror and have the same and I'll miss his with my Dr Blight and he'll hit and poison mine first turn. Just ridiculous. The entire battle changes from luck.

Again, I realize there needs to be that element in the game so anyone can beat anyone in any given match. It's one of the things that makes the NFL such an incredible success. On any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team. I just hate losing. lol So taking these random losses gets under my skin more than it probably should. I haven't tossed my monitor yet so that's good at least. Maybe I should try to look at this as a character-building exercise. 🙂 The problem is, I imagine my opponent over there thinking he/she is some genius and it pisses me off. lol (I might be slightly over-competitive)

That's why I play golf. Zero luck involved. The only time luck comes into play is when you hit a shot you weren't trying to hit. If I hit it where I'm aiming, I can't get a bad bounce or hit a rake or end up behind a tree or something. You can get some bad breaks (or good ones) but those only happen when you didn't do what you were intending to do from the beginning. If I get a buried lie in the bunker, guess what, don't hit it in the bunker and I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Full circle...(sorry for the rant, lol)...I agree about the speed. It's amazing how often giving up a good attacking card for a weaker one that has Swiftness or Slow can end up being the much better choice. It's another reason I need to figure out how to get my Kitty maxed. While the healing and speed are great, the best part about it is she never misses. It really makes it a lot more fun for me. Then it's just who put out the best lineup. No luck involved.

Wow, apparently I had a lot to say. lol

0

You had definitely a lot to say lol. I actually love to play "You can't hit me". Check out this one https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_82436b4ed5c658138c0a4812719d680c&ref=achim03

I think my oponent must have felt some frustration lol

0
0
0.000
avatar

Yeah, that would suck. lol But, I'd see that and know I got outplayed. I mean you've got way more speed plus blind plus phase plus dodge....you deserved to win. I can handle losing those. It's when he takes out your Coeurl with his first four shots in spite of all that, and changes the whole battle that I get worked up. And believe me, that's the kind of stuff that happens to me. More likely, he'll hit the Lurker with a 1 Speed Dr Blight and put poison and affliction on him first turn. I'm getting annoyed just imagining it. lol

I always like to point to February 2021, although I've been a HIVE member since August of 2021 if not longer. I have not missed a day (not one) of some sort of activity on HIVE since February 2021. I learned that consistency is crucial to long-term success and I believe in this community, the developers and the future of this blockchain.

What HIVE has done for me personally, it's allowed me a second chance to pursue my long-term attempt at entrepreneurship or just having the opportunity at either a second income, replacement income or retirement income. Either one would be gratifying. It will take time, but I'm all in, because I believe HIVE is where one of those things will happen.

Thank You for allowing me to participate.

It's about a year since I discovered HIVE via Splinterlands. Joined in somewhere in October/November and found the !PIZZA community and I've never looked back since 😜. The crypto market might have cratered since the ATHs but overall, I think I'm going to continue being here in the forseeable future.

It isn't anything life changing - the games I play and communities I interact with are just a nice hobby/expansion of my social circles that I enjoy. I've also treated HIVE as my learning platform and entry into the world of crypto. So overall, I'll say that I've integrated HIVE into a part of my life and anything I experience here will be one part of what will be my life journey.

I got started with Hive in January 2020.

So far there has been no direct financial impact on my life as I haven't yet withdrawn any of my Hive assets. It does add to my optimism about my financial future, however.

The main impact is on my time as I spend quite a bit of time on Hive-based platforms each day. It has helped me to create more content of various types, and I invest quite a bit of time into that.

Then there's Splinterlands. I have just spent a couple of hours buying cards and playing some games...

So there we go - the main impact is on my TIME! LOL! but in a positive way as I believe in the investment I'm making.

Honestly, finding out about Hive impacted my daily routine

Man Hive has added at least one hour of work every day to my routine and I hardly have enough time to do everything I would like to :-). I don't complain however. It's the hour of the day I look forward the most !

That's exactly what I feel! I exchanged wasteful activities (mainly browsing instagram/reddit) for something actually useful (creating content for Hive)!

(Edited)

I joined Steemit on 13 August 2016. I did nothing for two years because it was almost completely unclear to me from the beginning.
Well, I slowly started to learn and now I'm getting to where I am.
Everything I've achieved here is from my posts. I've not bought anything anywhere. For the last three years, I have been trying to post consistently and above all to communicate with others.
So my prescription is to be consistent. However, it takes time.

Hive is not exactly the place to become rich over night :-). The great thing I believe is that consistency really pays off in the long run.

What a great question..

I ve been on hive since 2017 .. (end of)
It is a decision I never regret, because i have learned so many things and I am always in something new .. so much going on that we are never bored here
The impact in my life is tremendous, and I need at least one post to explain why.
Apart from the fact that I learn about crypto and earning it, I have been doing some very fun & educating activities .. like blogging/researching/photographing .. and I find the opportunity to explore more of my self

All the best to this project of yours!

It's funny you say that. I was actually thinking about the same. It would probably take me a 1000 words post to express how Hive has impacted my life :-).

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

How long have you been on Hive and how does Hive impact your life?

Been on hive (originally stemmit) since 2017 so it's been 5 years. The greatest impact blockchain blogging has done is to document events and share them with interested people online. It has been fun participating in games and contests and learn about interesting ideas and become introduced to fascinating people.

You are an old wolf of this blockchain! You are right about the fun and exchanging ideas, meeting new people... It is a big bonus of HIVE!

I have been on Hive for over 3 years now. Hive has had a very positive impact on my life in terms of being able to be part of a very active and supportive community. It has also had a positive impact in terms of being able to earn and reinvest crypto currency.

I love not having to push products on people that they don't need or want. And can still earn money.
Have a great day, Zoltan😀

Dear @liotes,
Your support for the current HiveSQL proposal (#138) is much appreciated but the proposal will expire soon!
May I ask you to review and support the new proposal so HiveSQL can stay free to use for the community?
You can support the new proposal (#247) on Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

Thank you!
