If you have checked the hive-engine markets like me today, you probably had a shock when seeing the price of CTP. However, when looking at it more in details, you realize that the problem doesn't lie with CTP. Check-out the video to understand what has happened...

It's not a CTP problem, but more of a problem of the majority of tribe tokens... Anyways, the price of the CTP has bumped up, but we will see if it will return to the old one, or stay a bit lower...
yes, as achim already said about chronocrypto and I saw it in transaction history too. 👍 It's a bunch of selling 😅 Hope it'll be like before again~

Thanks for the update! I noticed the same person sold a lot of ONEUP as well. Glad to know the selling has nothing related to the fundamentals of the actual tribe tokens. Good job with the Liotes project!

It's a good time to buy in. This bear season would put a lot of pressure on the Hive-engine tokens since much would have to be sold for a reasonable Hive exchange.
As the bull season emerge. Things would shape up.
Meanwhile, hive-engine tokens need to create markets outside the of Hive
I would agree with your statement here... but only if this happens:
If that doesn't happen, maybe some tribe tokens will see a small pump, but others could stay at the same level as they are... Without the additional use cases, I don't see a future for them...
This is not the correct way to sell it, I hate Hive Engine that expires the buy order. If it put on some cheap price to buy, I might have purchased it.

Fantastic work guys. I was shocked when I saw CTP chart earlier but yeah, Utopis is being liquidated.
These things happen as a part of the "chain reaction"... But, if the tokens have real value, they should get back where it was fast... If not, they could never recover...
I didnt have much hive available, but i tried to buy at these low prices. !CTP
Crypto is the open market and such events occur without warning, but it is a learning for project runners how to keep it safe from big sales.
How do you guys back Liotes with Hive, would you mind giving me some understanding, just for learning.

The only way to get LEN tokens is by staking LENM. When people buy LENM we use this money and power it up in our liotes.fund. So all the LENM are backed with this hive power. We delegate our hive power out to other projects for a return. This return is what backs up the value of LEN.

Much appreciated, this helped a lot. So, in case if similar situation occurs like CTP, Liotes will buy those sold token to stabilize the price and then sell them to potential buyers in the open market.

As Liotes earns income on daily basis, if a similar situation happens like with CTP, we will just create new buy orders and build it up again... As there will be fewer tokens out, it would be even easier to build up the price... ;)
But, these two tokens aren't comparable as LEN has a low supply, much lower than CTP
Exactly what my understanding, and low supply means higher demand also logical to keep price in control.

I've noticed the dump last week too.
I'm really active in the !PIZZA community and I think it's one of those who went through it relatively unscathed. Almost all of his dump was immediately absorbed by several buy walls, and the price has quickly recovered.
I'm very interested in Tribes with real value (and by extension actual use cases) and have been keeping an eye on Liotes 😄.
I'm rather confused though 🤔.. I was under the impression that LEN and LENM are the tokens for the Liotes project. Is CTP part of Liotes too?
LEN and LENM are the only tokens of the Liotes project but we have quite a big stake of CTP tokens as a secondary income source. We have an interest that these tokens don't lose too much of their value :-)
As Achim said, CTP isn't part of Liotes, but just like any other 2nd income source, like LEO, ONEUP, POB, etc... Those tokens altogether are less than 5% of Liotes's portfolio...
I didn't realize that it was chrono dumping the CTP tokens but I did see his post about dividends.
