A critical look at our 2nd layer income sources

avatar

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

With crypto prices generally not doing so well over the last weeks, we thought it might be a good idea to have a look at the different tokens that we have invested in.

Whenever we sell LENM tokens, the proceeds are powered up and the Hive Power is then delegated out. The interests that we get from these delegations are then used partially to invest in secondary income sources.

**In this video, I will have a closer look at the different tokens at this level. **

If there is a clear project and work, the results will be seen in the long term. Slow but sure.

Things definitely need time. As long as the basic construction is well designed, it can only go into one direction :-)

It is good to hear that the assets of the project are stable and only impacted by the price swings. I guess I had missed it in the past about the 2 layer tokens. Thanks for sharing the information again as it has helped my understanding. Take care.

I'm happy the video brought some clarity into it :-)

It's too bad that some of the tribe tokens aren't doing so well. I was really sad to see what happened to the music for life community but I feel like their focus is more on Hashkings and I don't think the game is likely to come out.

It's really too bad because there was definitely a niche for it but I believe that the owners is jumping to often from one thing another... That's why I'm not that confident for Hashkings either.

The start of Hashkings was rough. It was so broken that things took a few days to plant crops.

Thanks for sharing! Always interesting to hear about the project and I thought the explanation is very clear!

I thought the explanation is very clear!

I'm glad to hear that :-). When I rewatched the video I had the feeling it wasn't really well structured.

Maybe it could be because I have been following this for quite a while so it's easier for me to understand. ;)

It's great to see what the pros are doing with second layer tokens.

Our main objective for second layer income sources is to have a big diversification to give a maximum of stability.

Thanks for the breakdown on the HE tokens. I wasn't even aware that the ONEUP tokens lost a lot of value.

The price decrease of oneup in the last two months was quite big. It passed from 0.03 Hive to 0.005 Hive!

They launched around the beginning of the year, right? Or maybe at the end of 2021? That makes sense to lose value. Most HE tokens do after launch.

I like this organic growth, especially this balancing of tokens. Maybe you should work more on the second layer, here I think especially when a token goes down because the community is weak and nothing is happening it should be replaced but that's the problem in H-E because unstaking takes too much time and it's not so much up to you.
It all looks good together, I've been here in Hive for quite a while but Liotes still seems to me to be the best example of this so-called "tokenomics".
Yeah, sorry about the vibes because I have quite a few of them myself and I do a lot with music as well, I mean more or less I write about music and record live events.
But it's like this with all tokens: if there's no clear goal of what to do with it and if nothing happens in the community around it, then the interest drops...

You are right about paying attention to the community around a certain tribe... When there is no movement, the sign is clear that we should stay away from it... The biggest problem is unstaking tokens, but also low liquidity and no demand...

It all looks good together, I've been here in Hive for quite a while but Liotes still seems to me to be the best example of this so-called "tokenomics".

We were thinking about our tokenomics a lot before and during the development... Adding things during the first year, and tweaking things... The biggest difference between us and others is that we are sharing most of our earnings with the community, by adding funds into the LEN token... Also, all our miner sales earnings are back into the project, generating interest... That's not usually the case with ANY token out there...

Yeah, sorry about the vibes

We didn't lose a lot with VIBES as we were prepared for that scenario... It's just a pity as the niche is great! When we were researching and discussing going into VIBES, we were aware of a great tokenomics which was a huge bonus... On the other side, we were aware of "young developers" involved in it... It's great to have fresh blood, but we all were young, and we know how it is in those years... That was the biggest minus and our fear with M4L, and I think that that was the reason why it all fell apart...

As I said, it's a pity because it is a great niche... I hope that someone else will appear and create another, more successful music tribe!

2nd income investments are the core of the project... As it grows bigger, we can earn bigger profits and grow the project itself!
